Hi there,
I am aware of this rather old trick but I was not aware that only 55% of the people can do it. This looks somewhat wrong as it is known (only to me?) that only dyslexic people have true difficulties reading it. Or should we just admit that we are (apparently) all so damn smart in this section and in that particular question...! :) Oh well! I guess I would be OK with that too...
PS: Based on this ability of the brain (to re-compose from fragments), some people develop skills that enable them to read a whole page of a book within ~10 seconds. Actually the faster you read it the easier it becomes as you rely more and more on brain's ability to recompose... |

If you can read this, you have a strange mind too. Can you read this? Only 55 people out of 100 can. I couldn't believe that I could actually understand what I was reading. The phenomenal power of the human mind, according to a research at Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be in the right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole. Amazing, huh? Yeah, I always thought spelling was important!
I can read it, so I guess it's me & another 54, right? |

Guys, I thought Turkish stuff belonged in the "Language" section. If you don't want me to know what's going on in here, you can just tell me to stay out. HA! :)))) |

It's definitely cool. I remember the first time I read something like that I was really surprised. But, it isn't 55/100 people that can read it. Virtually everyone can read it. The human mind only pays attention to the first and last letter, not 'some' human minds. It's how we all work. |

I have seen this before. It is true, I can read every word of the above text. Our brain sees the first and last letters of a word and fills in the gap. But you have to be a little bit of literate at least to be able to comprehend the word. Unfortunately the Lord Almighty did not give that gift to a few miserable nations (they know who they are, losers always) lol. You and I are among the gifted ones young lady :) |
