We can not choose the country where to live for its food or traditions!
In my opinion, first of all, you have to consider the POLITICAL and ECONOMICAL circumstances of that country, politics and economy influence your life for the best or the worst...
So, at present, I'd advise you Spain... I think that Zapatero did a good job... However, I am not informed on the conditions of all the European countries... |

So many biased answeres that are not helpfull in any way. I am Serbian, living in Canada, but I will say that I would pick The Netherlands (Holland). Amsterdam to be specific. It is centrally located, close enough to London, Paris, Berlin, etc to be able to make weekend trips to most cities in Europe. It has the best transportation system in Europe. It is nature friendly, clean, progressive, etc. |

spain but it is getting expensive now, cyprus not bad, Greece in the islands but it is not as modern as Spain and Cyprus and maybe AlGarve in Portugal.
They all have a mild weather during the year except greece, there are some cold parts in winter. check weather online and find out for each. |

Well if I had to choose one country in Europe to live in it would be Bulgaria. It is under developed, so they need smart young skilled workers. The cost of living would be very cheap. And if you lived there for a time you could get your European Passport. With that you could travel and work any where in Europe. |

Romania - I was there once. It's beautiful. Alas I can't drive though. As is the case anywhere you live it's so much more easy to live if you can drive. There are beautiful mountains, scenary and people there. |
