Those police acted childishly because of taking a photo with him.That's all.The event was investigated and there was nothing as you said.Beside,our state does not support terrorist organization unlike Armenian.

Well, some considered Ogun Samast as a national hero in the police headquarters for killing Hrant Dink who was a writer.

Hrant dink was killed because he would not stop talking about the Armenian Genocide. He wanted Turkey to come to terms with its dark past. He was prosecuted by nationalists on article 301 "insulting Turkishness", then he was assassinated in front of his office.

There is a nationalist terrorist organization that operates in Turkey by top figures. In the last year only 3 Christians were killed actually tortured then slaughtered, Italian priest was killed, Hrant Dink was killed, a judge was killed.

But keep in mind that there was more than 100,000 people in the streets protesting Hrant Dink's murder, during his funeral. So that means there are also good people who are living in a country with no choice, because of the powerful nationalist ties in the Parliament, Court, and Army.

the Turkish government is really careful about minorities -Armenians, Kurds - and the Turkish laws says that no matter what ethnic background, no matter what religion you are welcome to be a citizen of Turkey. but, as many of us knows, there are cults and groups against 'enlightened' people or more commonly known as artists -journalists, poets- or in very basic words, anyone against their will of using religion and ethnicity as a weapon to take over the economics and the politics of Turkey. Hrant Dink was a journalist against all this and he always mentioned the fact that he was proud to be a Turkish citizen. as you can understand, the cults i mentioned above killed Mr. Dink because of all these reasons mentioned above.
unfortunately, turkey does not give equal chances to it's people. there is a lower class that only got education up to 5th grade, that doesnt read newspapers and does not know enough to understand what's really going on in Turkey. i assume the cops in that picture were one of these people that didnt understand this tragedy.

ps: please do not fight about the problems between armenians and turks here. whatever happened in the past is in the past . plus, yahoo answers does not want fighting here and people keep on fighting here may end up losing their account and that wouldnt be good.

habisce you are wrong about that.i really hate policemen but in this event they did a psycological number on him.they acted closely to him and as you know he admitted everything he knew.i think thats not the issue to talk about.the important thing is who supplied them money,gun and ideology but here is not the place to discuss this.so f u c -k away from here missy you are NOT welcome
