Yes, we spent 15 day holiday in Turkey. I enjoyed every moment during our stay. Breathtaking natural beauty, outstanding culture and history, excellent food, and above all, wonderful people.

This visit gave me a great opportunity to understand a little more about Muslim culture, and I wish more Westerners/Americans could travel to this beautiful country in a time like today. I am sure it will be a first step for a mutual understanding between two different culture.

3,4 times per year my dear. It is one hour form my house.I mean I live in Rhodes, and Marmaris is 50 minutes with katamaran.
When I come to Turkey I dont feel that I went abroad, in a foreign country...Because everything is like us in Greece, the hospitality, the kavga in the street, the food, the music, I go to Tansas for shopping, I hear greek songs...Tha s why I say that people are so stupid sometimes who get fanatic without reason.Because with the simple people we have nothing to share both parts

Yes, I went to Turkey and I liked it a lot. I went to Istambul (naturally), Capadocia, Antalya, Ephesus (sorry, I can't remember the name of the present city right now) and to Troy (again, I can't remember the name of the small town nearby). Turkey is so big, with so much history, unfortunately I've only seen a bit, which means I'll have to go back someday if I can. The food isn't the best in the world and I did have terrible digestive problems there, but I think it must have been because I was drinking tap water. On the other hand, life is (or was) very inexpensive, so one can have great holidays anyhow.

I did twice, once in Istanbul which was wonderful, and once in another part of Turkey which has become a place where there are no more any place showing the great culture of the country. That's so sad countries are losing their historical and cultural potential to get more money from foreigners... And it's getting worse and worse, everywhere.

Yes I did, I have been 14 times over there, and sure I do love Turkey ( I would be crazy if not being so many times on there).
Warm people, a lovely filled of history and culture country... wonderful meal... I really do advice to everybody to go there!

Where am I?

Yes, I've been to Turkey and I liked the parts where I did go. i would like to go to other places to like Ephesus and Istanbul. I worked for a Turkish tour operator in Europe selling package deal vacations and flights to Turkey.
I love Turkish food, great with all the garlic.

I have been in Turkey four times by now and I hope to go there again and again... I have visited Istanbul and spent my summer vacations in Kusadasi, Marmaris and Alanya so far. So, obviously, I like Turkey very much! Moreover, I feel at home there!

I love sea&sun&send so much! I love fantastic night life and great fun you can have there. I love friendly people and nice atmosphere. Finally, I love not-so-organized way of life, even a bit chaotic, but in a positive way. I am not a conventional person, so I enjoy being at places like this. Also, whenever (and wherever) I travel, I don't act like a typical tourist and I interact with locals a lot. Thaks to all of this, I began feeling at home in Turkey very quickly.

I have wonderful memories from all my journeies to Turkey and remembering any of them always brings a smile to my face. Hope to go there again soon!

Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
In reality, all places are the same - our perception is what makes them different. Thus we can say, according to our perception - all places have their good and bad points.
It is just a matter of whether you like a place's good points, or dislike its' bad points.
If you so happen to like a place's good points, and are not bothered by the bad, then most likely you enjoy that place.
If however a place's good points mean very little to you, and the bad points are something which you detest - then, maybe you should consider going elsewhere. (If that chance is available).
Also realize that we become more aware of 'hidden' details the longer we stay in a certain place.
It is always best to learn and make the best of were you are, when you are there, because we are not here for very long.
By the way, I lived in Istanbul for 9 years and would go back if the opportunity arose again. The rich history, 5x ezan and street cats are something I miss dearly.
