It's funny how you say that your fate rests in our hands when you already know what you should be doing. Think of what will make you happier in the long run. Personally, if someone were to die tomorrow, I think they would say that they atleast got to see the world. Then again, this world revolves around money and having a stable job is a plus. Do what you think is right, unfortunately I cannot persuade you into choosing a direction, ultimately, it's not my life..you'll be the one to deal with the consequences either way. Sorry for being so general. |

It really depends on how much they are offering you! I'd say if it is upwards of 6 figures, take the job. Making that much will certainly allow you to go to Europe at some point in the near future!!! If it is a mediocre job with average pay that you would be able to pick up at any time, go! It depends on your situation / qualifications.....etc. Take a half hour and weigh out the pros and cons! |

well this is a decision u have 2 make.....but a good job is betta than a free holiday because u could save up later on and go to europe on your holiday but a good job is hard 2 find!! Many ppl cant find good jobs with good pay!! Gudluk on youre decision!! |

depends on how 'grown up' you want to be. Amsterdam will be there in a few years when you're financially stable enough to go. A good paying job doing what will make you happy is harder to come by these days. Do you want instant gratification or do you want to wake up each morning happy to have the life you have? |

And you're not on a plane yet!?!?! (Take it from me, a job is the easiest thing in the world to replace) |

Why don't you contact the company who offered you the job and tell them your dilemna........see what they say. If you are worth it.......it is possible that they might hold the job til you get back.
Otherwise...........if Europe is a once in a lifetime thing..
go to Europe! There are plenty of jobs and when you get back you can take any old job to tie you over til you get another "good job" offer.
You are right about the never having another chance and you will regret for the rest of your life not going to Europe.
SO I say......contact the company.........tell them your dilemna and see what they say...........if they say no then tell them that you appreciate the offer, but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you feel that taking it will help to make you a better employee and person in long run. Tell them you will check back with them once you return and hopefully they will have another job opening that you are qualified for.
Have fun in Europe. |

You said once-in-a-lifetime. So go! If you're good enough to get a "good" job now, think how much more valuable you'll be to a prospective employer (for a GREAT job) when you have Europe on your resume.
If you don't go, you will surely regret it ten or fifteen years down the road when you've got that "good" stable job, a spouse, kids and the unfulfilled dream of that once-in-a-lifetime trip. |

take the job hun, after a few months of working htere you will have earned enough money to take some time off in the summer to travel for two weeks or so , a stable job these days with good pay is hard to come by these days and europe will be here in the future for you to visit.
just my opinion
good luck |

if your over 30 take the job then make the money to go to europe.however, traveling across the big pond to other countries are frowned upon because of the unrest of many people in other areas. the murder of the PM of pakistan will cause much trouble and will make it difficult to get the required visas for travel |

Take the job, you can always save up enough to go to Europe and enjoy a good vacation, but a good job is hard to come by these days for allot of folks. |

go to Europe
Get a job when you return. If you're that valuable in the work place, you'll get another good job offer.
ALWAYS go traveling when there's an opportunity!
When you're dying, you wont recall the great job you took, but you might remember sunset over Amsterdam. |
