I don't need to consider myself to be Caucasian, others have placed that title on me, my tribe and race. I also happen to be a Turk, Cerkez Abhaza or Circasian. Read the link below and educate yourself a tad.

More than the slavic people like macedonians, romanians and russians can do, for turkey has some of its part in caucasia and there are many people with circassian, chechen, laz etc origins.

My mother considers herself one, poor thing. She doesn't know that once you migrate into Turkey, you turn from an Adige (Hi, Trotsky vs Kerensky!) into an Arab. :(

Once I wrote to a friend that my mother is Caucasian and he thought I'm being racist. I had a hard time explaining that she REALLY is Caucasian!
