Do the Turkish nationals of Armenian origin interact with the Armenian immigrants from Armenia itself?

I am wondering whether any citizens having Armenian ethnic origin but otherwise being Turkish nationals themselves associate with the Armenian immigrants in Turkey (e.g. those entering Turkey only the last 10 years).
Additional Details
My impression is that 80.000 Turks of Armenian origin cannot hide their identities as some suggest...I am sure these people do speak Turkish as Turks and most probably have quite some money or have established their own businesses and families for long. I also read (from personal search) that Armenian immigrants from Armenia are illegal immigrants living quite on the boundaries of the Turkish society. And so I was puzzled: Would people belonging to different social classes but otherwise culturally very similar interact? To me your answer could give me an indication of how strong are the Armenian cultural bonds.

Turkish nationals of Armenian origin probably do not interact with the newcomers (Armenians). Because in Turkey and ONLY in Turkey Armenians can not be Armenians, they live with fear, frustration, and discrimination. They dont want others to know that they are actually friends with Armenians, many even hide their true identity to melt in with the general population.

This is ALL because of the nationalist freaks who killed Hrant Dink, Three Christians, Italian Priest and probably more that we dont know of. Not to mention the death threats Armenian public figures get on daily basis, some are bull ****, and some are real.

Here is a video about hidden Armenians in Turkey.

EDIT: crazygirl. I hope what you are saying is the fact, I am not in Turkey so I really dont know how it is, by reading the news from Turkey and here Thats what my conclusion was. I have always wanted Armenians and Turks to come to terms and live with peace, because forever they are going to be neighbors.

I don't know the answer to your question but I have got to say that the Armenians I know don't live with fear. The ones I know, which are the armenians in Istanbul, are actually proud of their culture. My friends Tess and stephanie were teached Armenian by their parents but I don't think they learned enough yet, they also talked about their religion a lot and brought stuff that were cool and different to us to school. For example, Tess' uncle made chocolate easter eggs, huge ones... We used eat them at school... Other than that, My uncle Tatyos is my aunt's husband and he does not hide his culture... He was known as a great dentist between many people because he has a really soft hand(meaning he doesn't hurt) ,anyways... I don't understand one person's cmment above me because he says armenians hide because of the threats they get, well then EvERY nation around the world would live with fear since EVERy nation around the world get threats including a lot of Turks...
Oh, well I wrote a lot and I'm sorry to make you read this much...
And I don't care if you give me a low rating...Ok I care a little bit...

well, according to statistics, in turkiye, 80 thousands of armenian people live. armenians have so many rights in turkiye; as a single turkish person cannot have these rights in armenia. such an example; armenian origined people publish their newspapers in turkiye of which names are Jamanak, Agos and Marmara etc...

so, in such a country, all armenian people interact with their immigrants from armenia.

however, have u ever heard, in armenia, how many turkish people live? none! do you know why?

edit::

A very famous drama artist who played in many films in the past of turkish cinema was Adile NaÅŸit. She made us cry and laugh in her many films. And guess what?? She was an Armenian origined Turkish citizen and her real name was Adela. Everybody in Turkiye loves her character in all her films.

However, nobody loves racist Armenian friends! so it is enough, "PLEASE", give up your dirty slanders!

Hello Frank,
I am sorry but i wanted to give an answer to Mr. Beemer first if you don't mind.
Mr. Beemer talking about things that you don't know is really really very unkind. I was really upset with your answer so i showed your answer to our neighbor and a good friend (Armenian) and my friend Nadine laughed at your answer and she said that you must be either kidding nor really don't know what you are saying because Turkish Armenians are not frustrated, nor in bad conditions. In fact they are in very very good conditions.

And about your question Frank, i must tell you that i met Armenian ethnic origin people who didn't like the actions of Armenian diaspora and there are Armenian illegal workers in Turkey and generally Turkish people give them jobs.

habisce
I really do not think any Turkish Armenians interact with those, who came from Armenia as illegal immigrants since I know they do not work for or live with Turkish Armenians, but Turkish employers, especially in Kumkapı a district of İstanbul.

Furthermore, there are not 80.000 Turkish Armenians, though you are right they do not hide their ethnicity. There are a few thousands of Armenians in İstanbul, and a few hundreds in Van; however, they live in some other parts of the country.

On the other hand, they are 70.000 thousands of clandestine Armenian workers in Turkey, yet they do not have much money. Since they are clandestine workers, they earn a little money to live on and a little extra money to send to their families in Armenia.

So there is no social bonds as you mentioned.

Mehmet K
There is a TV series named as KARAYILAN (Black snake)... It is shown that An Armenian helping Turkish patriotic and also fighting together with Turks against France invader... We would like to have that type Armenian origined Turkish citizens in Turkey...

We love them, we accept them as they are...

I just wanted to address blunts statement that would implicate the country of Turkey in a malicious propaganda campaign against the Armenian Diaspora.

For the Armenians living in Turkey today to "hate" the remains of the Diaspora that hate would be based on what they have been forced to acknowledge.

This deeply concerns many of us.

Armenians all over the world are in unison for initiating legislation on issues of concern to the Armenian American community, such as strengthening Armenia as a secure, prosperous and democratic state; supporting Nagorno Karabagh's right to self-determination and independence within secure borders; increasing U.S. aid levels to Armenia to promote economic and democratic development; securing direct U.S. aid to Nagorno Karabagh; ensuring the appropriate commemoration of the Armenian Genocide; and encouraging Turkey and Azerbaijan to lift their blockades and adhere to international standards for human rights and humanitarian practices.

How could anyone day in and day out put so much effort into disqualifying the intentions of the Armenian people when its all so evident that their unity and good will is mightier then anyone's ill words can ever be against them.

I describe those living in Turkey who would try to dishonor the reputations of the Armenians living outside Turkey for their efforts, actions of an absurd and irrational people. I have taken into consideration that their actions are purely a manifestation of the propaganda distributed for years by the Turkish government and only their government has the power to reverse the hysteria they have caused from it.

After all how can we condem the efforts of the Armenian people and then consider it rational behavior? No we can not.

I don't know if they do or not, but I think they should.
Second, Armenians in Turkey are not "Turks of Armenian origin", they are Turkish-Armenians. (Turkey = country, Turkish = relating to Turkey). Nationality and ethnicity are two distinct things.
Third, Turkish-Armenians live on their ancestral land and their history is as long as whole Armenian history. This is my answer to ErAs, who says why Turks do not live in Armenia. Armenia has never been land of Turks but parts of Turkey has once been land of Armenians.

I understand how sad Turkish-Armenians feel when they see the enmity of Turkey and other Armenians. In one side, they see Turkey as their only homeland, because they have always lived there. And at the other side they cannot deny their national identity as Armenians because of this problems.
This is why a great great peaceful open-minded man was came out among them: HRANT DINK, who just thought of a real solution to end this enmity.
In answer that is he going to leave Turkey for security -to be away of assassination threats -, he answered:
"Why should I leave Turkey? Here is my ancestral land, I have right to die where I've been born..."
Rest in peace, Hrant Dink... You'll always be remembered as a hero...

PS: Mama li Turch!:
The only thing brings Armenians together (diaspora or non-diaspora), is being Armenian. My friend, Armen is right. When two Armenians from different countries meet they do not talk about Turks or about any 'hate', they just get happy to get together.

PS2: Again to Mamma li Turch!:
I said Armenia was never land of Turks and I still insist on that [I don't assume the era when Ottomans occupied Yerevan, Nakhichevan and Tabriz for 20 years and after that, by the help of Armenian and Azeri people, Sha'ah Abbas Safavid defeated Ottomans and gained back cities] and Azerbaijanis are different people, both Turkic but different (I ignore the political means to describe them same).
In history, many different people and races have fled in Yerevan, but whom the 2789 year-old-credit of Yerevan goes to ? :)

BTW, we ran out of subject and reached the ethnical-geography of Caucasus and Anatolia...!!!

PS3: Again and again to Mamma li Turch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ARMENIANS ARE ARMENIAN WHEREVER ON EARTH.
If this isn't then this is the Turkish strategy to isolate them from the rest of Armenians in world else there is no difference.

PS4: For the last time, weather you get it or not I'm not going to tell you again: We are one nation, everyone has his/her own views, views do not divide a nation at least for us. Once you say "Diaspora Armenians are bad, Armenians from Armenia are good", the other time "Both are bad, Turkish Armenians are good"... As I said, this is a strategy... STOP THAT!

Well, I have heard that Istanbul Armenians (I'm sorry to say) despise illegal workers here, seeing them as peasants. I'm sure this would be a wrong generalization for them. They employ illegal immigrants as house maids. Other illegals come here posing as Georgians for fear of attack, because they are told that all Turks hate all Armenians.

I also heard that Turkish Armenians are troubled by the vicious campaign led by diaspora. Some believe the campaign is based on lies, some believe it is not. Whatever their political standing on this matter, they are supposed to live among us and diaspora's endeavors provoke reaction, and both you and I know that not everybody can be so cool against provocation.

And third, Turkish Armenians exist not in different neighborhoods, but among us. It breaks my heart to imagine what kind of fears they must be having for themselves, but especially for their children. I wouldn't want to see one single strand of hair on their heads get hurt. I wouldn't want to see one single child get upset because of something that a stupid nationalist says.

Edit: The cultural bonds may not be so strong as you might imagine. Just look at diaspora Armenian reactions. They admit they don't know Armenian people's conditions here, then go on to judge them. After all, like you said, there are Turkish Armenians, Armenians of France, Armenians of USA and Armenians of Armenia, who have been living apart for nearly 100 years. And the only thing that brings the diaspora together seems to be their hatred toward Turks. I would imagine Turkish Armenians would have more in common with me than, say, Beemer.

EDIT AGAIN: Hatred for Turkish people isn't their common point, I agree. Because some of them live among us! On the other hand, you can't deny that it seems so when you look at the regulars here. They scared away the ordinary Turkish Armenians who opposed their views! And they dare claim Turkish Armenians aren't real Armenians! So, doesn't it sound like, for them, the only one denominator of being an Armenian IS the hatred for Turks? Now, be frank and admit it Frank. Doesn't it look that way?

AND AGAIN: See? You are either for them, or against them. No Armenian who has an opposing view is allowed to be a sane Armenian.

Sose
And Have you ever wonder about Turkish illegal emigrant who live in Europe and do all kind of low jobs are supported by the Turkish who are citizen of those countries.
Your answer is yes they are supporting Armenians who are there for work(wrong choice though), they could have gone to Russia and get much better job, yes as I was saying they get support but very secretly, and Armenians where ever they go get the best job after awhile or they open their own business , everywhere but Turkey, they can't see any Armenian get rich, unless they change their name to some kind of Oghloo at the end.
There thats your answer....

Mamma li Turchi's words are wise. Whoever says otherwise isn't.

ok you say that beemer can't speak about your country cause he isn't living in your country but for example when we lived in soviet union we know less about our country than people from other countries what about armenians in turkey i'd wont to define armenians in stambul and other parts of turkey stambul always was that what turkish government would like to show to other countries here why in times of genoide in stambul were killed very little part of armenians (mostly intelligence) so i think in country where your culture is being destroyed you can't live safely
silent example is death of Hrant Dink

EDIT:ara mama li turci the only thing that bring us together is owr nationality if two armenians are meetin' in other country they don't say "hi i hate turks" they say "hay es akhpers?"(are you armenian brother?)
