we played well but Germans win. no need to be sorry. I am proud of my team. everybody will remember Turks in EURO2008 for long years. I guess you know the saying of great English striker Gary Lineker:
"football is a very simple game. for 90 minutes 22 men go running after the ball and at the end the Germans win."

Even though Turkey had half the team suspended and injured, with the referee working against them, Turkey TOTALLY CANCELED OUT Germany's game. A few amateur mistakes gave Germany the win... Germany pulled a Turkey on Turkey.

Yes I do. The Turkish team was great, they did their best and played better then Germany.
Anyway, Turkiye was amazing in Euro2008 so i keep saying: Congrats! Be proud all ya Turks!
Although You would have deserved the cup, go on, get the 3rd place, and yes, be proud!

Yes, and considering we had many injured and star players out of the game...we did AMAZINGLY with the resources we had left. If Germany were in our position, I really believe they wouldn't have done such a great job as we did. The Turks deserved it-it would have been their first time to go to the finals AND Germany has had many opportunities to shine and I really think it wasn't their turn to win.

It was a good match and the Turkish team played better than the Germans for most of it. The match was lot by Rustu, why was Rustu in goal? Because of Volkan's idiotic behaviour earlier on. Better luck next time. (and better behaviour, hopefully - saying that, the rest of the team observed the principals of fair play and set a good example).

My father says Fatih Terim left the back deserted and that the Germans took advantage of that.

Yes of course, they had wonderful goal chances which they handed away.Like Kazim's strike out side the box hit the post and Aurelio couldn't head the ball in with a clear look at the goal. Im kind of disappointed. Im very proud of Turkish national team. I hope they'll show better performances in the future as they did on euro 08.

Turkey's wins were explained as "luck." Let's say Germany was lucky this time, they played against a subteam and hardly got the game. Thanks to ref also. Little chance against Spain or Russia

Yes, yes, yes and YES. We deserved it, we deserved it! We should have been in the finals now and if it wasn't for our weak right back and hasty goal keeper we WERE in the finals! We played splendidly against Germany even with our substitute players. (That 12th German player, Busacca, is the star of the match!)

Maybe we should avoid scoring first again lol

I think it was a well-played game. I mean the referee ignored some fauls on the germany side but I think they deserved it still. We won the last three games the last minute. They won this game in the last minute. We believed that we deserved it when we won in the last minute, so I guess they deserved it too. Do you get my point?
I mean, yeah, we did have a not-good-enough rustu, but so did the some other teams tht we played with.
I do believe we would have won if volkan was playing- then we would have won. All our players are young, so lets hope to win in the future years! :)

Both teams were very good! I enjoyed the match. This is the kind of football I like to watch. It deserved to be a final, not a semifinal. as to who deserved to win, I'd say both, becasue both managed to overturn the score in their favour many times, when all seemed lost. But at the end of the day, the team that scores most goals wins, that's football.

It was a game of two halves. I think some German individuals played amazingly but Turkey were a bit more convincing on the attacks. Shame they had a crap keeper which is the reason they lost.

ive managed not to watch any euro 2008 (it was hard but it would have been to depressing for me) im a die hard england fan .im quite surprised by the amount of people watching it (i didnt think they would coz england werent there . same as i wouldnt watch the champions leaugue if arsenal werent there the only matches i watch that dont have my teams in are premiership and fa cup matches . (mind you i proberly would have watched all of it had england were there lol contradiction there .. lets let germany hurry up and win so we can look forward to the qualifiying games for africa 2010 ..yeah bring on the world cup the euros are nearly over dont look dont look aghhh my eyes lol

i think they played better on the night, but at the end of the day Germany put the ball in the net more times & as we all know thats what counts --- > :)

No I don't agree. I said it before in some sections that Germany will win. You people didn't listen to bet on what I said and you loose the chance to win money.
