I was like you.

I waited for the last minute to study for the exams in University..If you wait any longer, It will start to feel very depressive around 4 a.m.. You start to feel like crying.. and start cursing probably- I bet you already sent your warm regards to the book writers, professors and the deans mothers :D-

It gets worse if you wait any longer since all you want to be doing is to close the "damn" book and the notes and go to sleep .. Don't do it; it will make your points look more shame full on the board.

Next time, don't wait till the last minute - yeah, yeah.. as if.. :P-

Uhm.. one last thing; It took me 7 years to finish University with the last minute studies.. Believe me it gets real boring after the 5 :))

So... go study!!! ( OMG!!! now i know why mom's like to say that sentence. It feels soooo good !! :D )

I was a notorious procrastinator in college, yet somehow I managed to escape.. I mean graduate.

Generally I would skim over the material I had no problems with and focus on that which I wasn't to familiar with. Another thing - sleep!! Going into the exam tired will make it worse. Plus (for me at least) I somehow remembered it better with a decent night's rest. And like Amy said don't read your notes before the test. It will only make you more anxious, so you might remember only what you read. I did that once, and let's say the end result wasn't pretty.

Sorry I wish I could help you more, but I am a psychology major. I took one biology class and one chemistry class in college and that was it for me. Again I wish I could help you more.

If the exam is not that important start treating it like it is very important. Does that make sense? Like magnify the importance level 10 or 100x.

Don't worry about it. So what if you fail? So what if you fail miserably? So what if you're the only one who fails? So what if your the only one the teacher asks to see after class? Everyone's eyes on you, huh? At least you weren't stressed before the test.

Undetermined Quantity

I overslept and missed an important exam once, failed the class and had to wait a year for it to come around on the schedule. I wasted a year of my time and money because of that.

Even if I had been there, I would have failed because I didn't pay attention in class and didn't study.

Nothing to worry about as long as you have plenty of time and money to waste. :)

Yes because I am lazy and I kinda know what the test is about. In my mind, an exam is only a recap of things you should have known because you learned or studied it already. I just browse at the essentials (dates eg) I can last minute and wing it from there.

For short: Presence of mind during classes, ask what you don't understand early on.

Oh, you also need the factor of luck on your side. It has never failed me yet. ^_^

worst thing you can do.. is read notes right before you go into the exam.
because then you just think about those and you tend to forget about what you have previously revised.
i would be able to give more suggestions if i knew what the exam was on?

i was hoping it would be a languages exam or something similar.
i have tips for revising that..
i have no idea i'm really sorry.
if i were you id read the notes but try to understand them and not just read them. =/

ah so you need someone to motivate you.
make you want to do really well.
to scare you into doing it.
well.. just think about what will happen if you don't do well or pass.
all the people you'll have to face up to. think about how important it is to your future career.
i think that's the best i can do.

lol I envy you for not worring how much pages u have to study for next day exam,im a very organized person so i get ready for exam befor a week and write down how many pages do i have to study everyday to make it easier on myself.

But if ur a brain eater than good luck with ur exam.

Yeah i know. I was doing the same although i told myself after every exam that it would be the last.I even completed my graduation project in the last minute.

I remember one time, i was studying the night before exam,but since that last day was the first time i was studying , i decided to go on through the night and go straight to school in the morning,without sleeping. But guess what? I fell asleep and missed the exam...
These things happen, it's just being a student.

you can always study later :)))))))) why waste 5-6 hours of this beautiful day studying for a stupid exam :))))))) you have to live your life peacefully, without stress and worries :))))))))

Oh yeah, and my old math teacher used to say: "Children, you better study this material! I'm not going to be the one to hold your hand through the upcoming test!"

And my old history teacher used to say: "Fail my easy test or go work at McDonalds!"

Weren't my teachers great? :) They really knew how to scare the living dead out of the students.
