One day I was sitting with a greek friend and I asked him the same question.
He immediately knelt down before me and said "We can never be so great as the glorious Turkish nation, never!.."
But we'll be honored if you call us brothers.."
and he burst into tears.
Gee, what a scene it was. Then I consoled him and said "God bless you bro.."
Since then all trolls went mad and they constantly ask the same stupid questions over and over again.
Are you one of them?
Pls see the link below to see if you can answer and question so perfectly as that BA: |

For me i definetely believe.i have some greek friends.and we never have had any tears.because we don't stuck on the history.of course there were some big tears in the past but history is just learning our mistakes and not to repeat.
by the way i also have kind of this question but i've learned that some people are really stuck on their history and they can't live in the present anymore.i mean the both sides.and they can't even see what they miss.
so of course you're gonna see a lot of negative answers.but you can believe there are a lot of people that love greece and greek people in turkey. |

they re our old neighbour. One times our grandads old friends. There were greek doctors greek teachers..... in the past. they were our friend in the neighbourship.
After many terrible things (war hatret etc..) we gone apart. Muslim population sent to turkey. some of them didnt know turkish but greek.
turkish speaking christians sent to greece (Karamanlılar). You know the surname of Karamanlis.
there re fanatic people from both side. amongs us.
i think Greeks deserve to be called brothers more than our Korean friends.
i call them brother. I have many greek friends. And many greek have turkish friends especialy near the egean sea.
It is not disloyality to my country. Remember Atatürk & Venizelos. |

No.
Greek a nation has no brothers (unique language, writting system and culture) and that's why we have a great difficulty winning the Eurovision Song Contest. :D
We don't have a brother nation to support us there!
And that's why we 'hold on tight' onto our civilization, ancient Greek language, literature etc.

I have checked the information sources on that matter and found out the following:
1- Zimbabwe and New Guinea are brother countries
on the other hand
2- Vanuatu and Djibouti are sister countries
but
3- North Korea refuses to to be the brother of South Korea |

No, they are not...They are just neighboring countries. |

I know only of South Korea which is called a brother country in Turkey. They say the same about Turkey.
This has something to do with the brave Turkish soldiers who fought and died in the Korean War. You might have seen the giant Turkish flag in World Cup 2002 made by the Koreans and the scenes of brotherhood between the players of both teams after the game for the 3rd place.
Other countries are friends, neighbors etc.
Don't forget to ask the same question about Antigua, Aruba, Andorra and Liechtenstein. My answer will always be the same.
Thanks for the 2 points. |

I don't know about Greece but I seriously LOVE South Korea.:D They are such nice people.:)
And I also agree that Turkey is a pretty lonely country, but it's okay we don't need anyone. |

I recently talked to their prime-minister and he said "call me any time you like.. Our girls always like your style. Pls come to our country and satisfy our girls because no one can do it like a real Turkish man!"
I said OK and do the necessary. They like me like a brother.

Recently another guy asked a question just like that...
same type of sick logic, same type of stupid deduction, same type of prejudice and all..
That asker too was kinda missing something in the head, you know
(So much of a resemblance that I could swear it was YOU under another name)
A clever friend of ours gave just the right answer to that question and the members of the community voted it for the BEST ANSWER.
I guess THAT answer goes for your question too
Just check the links below and see it for yourself |

I see no reason for that not to happen.
We are children of the same lands. Wars and imperialist powers may have driven us apart, but that doesn't necessarily have to determine our future.
The real question is, would USA and EU allow us to be brothers? Or would they start a new war for their own benefit? |

Your miserable and ridiculous trolling efforts aside,
the inherently wrong and vehemently misleading postulate of your question render us no chance for giving you a proper reply
but only leave us with the sole option to think that you're posing this meaningless question just to spread a baseless hatred |

The situation that makes you ask this abusive question has already been investigated and your situation is clearly revealed already.

No. The worst things ever happen to the Greek people were done by the Turks. From the beginning of our common history until today. I have to say though, we had our peaceful moments together... if you consider the relation of a slave and a master as peaceful.
So you are brothers with South Koreans because you helped them to kill the North Koreans their real brothers... |

Greek people cant be brother with anyone. They are totally racist as you can see, they have no business just trying to provoke people against Turks( even in Turkey section on Travel) |
