My haven isn't actually in Turkey, it's in North Cyprus. I actually now live by the sea in a little Turkish Cypriot village called Catalkoy. Paradise can be found a little further east in the region of the island called the Karpaz - totally unspoiled, miles of deserted beautiful beaches, wild donkeys roaming safely and at night, the most awesome display of stars and planets you could ever dream of.

Anywhere by the Aegean or The Mediterranean coast. I rather be on a sail boat on the water though..

I m a Marmaris fan. But also i love Amasra which is a silent sort of Marmaris. Both are paradise.

I agree with kitten, Karpaz is a heaven indeed. You know what they say about Cyprus: "A corner of Earth, touched by Heaven".
Unfortunately they are building a dozen large hotels in the region. And next year they will build a university there (ITU) :(((

My haven is Akbuk Its is located in the centre of Turkey's favourite coast. The town which is between Bodrum and Didim, is a perfect holiday location set in a beautiful natural environment by the sea. Akbuk is covered with protected forests and olive trees. The region has many clean beaches and small bays. Akbuk is a much loved region by foreign and local tourists, it has the highest oxygen ratio and the lowest humidity of Turkey, and is rich in nature and sea.
The climate here is warm, but being in the bay a gently breeze is refreshing to cool you down especially in the peak summer months. In contrast to Altinkum Akbuk is virtually untouched and unspoilt by the tourist industry. I am sure you will agree it is a little piece of heaven.
