El Chris,
Same answer is copied and pasted below.
----
El Chris,
Think about the Armenians in Istanbul (capital of that time)
they did not attack Ottoman army from backside,
they did not attack Turkish villages, (kill, rape, etc.)
they did not cooperate with any other third country against Ottoman empire,
(Those all stated in some propaganda documents prepared by (Pasdermadjian)Armenian lobby to present US Congress, declared by Türkkaya Ataöv, you will see. God bless him)
So is it logical that a General (or a King) decides to "systematic killings of a race" and forgets its capital city or even all the west of the Anatolia?
So Armenian people in Istanbul are still living in Istanbul with their churches, unions and all of their rights.

People died because of disease and gang attacks. As it was same for all the people, from any race, who lived in Anatolia that time. Number of Armenian people who were forced for resettlement is all the time abused by Armenian lobby. Here it is

It is from the Diary of Talat Pasha who decided for resettlement.

Yes, Turkey was established after Armenian Genocide by Kemal Ataturk. Turkish alphabet was established 1928 by Kemal Ataturk. Kemal Ataturk convicted Talat Pasha and two others of genocide charges in absentia. Modern Turkey vehemently denies the Armenian Genocide. despite facts and photos. Not to mention anyone who speaks of the Armenian Genocide in Turkey goes to jail.
