Do you know of any songs with English lyrics but that have Turkish music?

So, I am beginning to fall in love with oriental turkish music, but, unfortunately, I don't understand Turkish. So, do you have any recommendations -away from pop of course?

P.s. I wouldn't mind if the lyrics were also in French or in Arabic
Additional Details
Please, it would be much better if the Baglama (or Divan Sazi, Bozuk, اögür, Kopuz Irizva, Cura, Tambura, etc) was envolved :)

Hi, your terminology is wrong. There is no such a term as "oriental Turkish music"
In Turkey we use the term oriental (oryantal) only when referring to Arabic music and Arabic belly dancing.

There is Turkish folk music (Türk halk müziği) and then there is Classical Turkish Music (Türk sanat müziği or Klasik Türk Musikisi). If you like the music in which we use bağlama, kemençe and other instruments that you listed it means that you like Turkish folk music.

I can only help you with the terminology, sorry. Because I don't know or heard of any musician who writes english lyrics to our folk music. So I guess you're stuck with the original lyrics.

Having said that I agree with Pala Remzi with his Barış Manço answer. Barış Manço was a highly respected musician whose music is categorized as Anatolian Rock. He is also respected for his lyrics of wisdom, he was kind of a poet at the same time.
Then there is Moğollar. They also make Anatolian Rock and use the traditional Turkish instruments that you listed along with electric guitar. Search youtube for Barış Manço and Moğollar.
MoÄŸollar was once (1970s) popular also in France so I guess they have some LPs in French but I'm sure you'll have a hard time finding them.

I don't know many...

In general, there are covers, or new songs with oriental samples (turkish, arab,or others)...And I noticed that English language and French language don't really suit to those tunes...Spanish language and Greek language can probably harmonize more, for some obvious reasons...

Anyway, I can quote a good song by Aaliyah, which has brilliantly managed to assimilate an oriental motif (Egyptian, I assume), and the result is awesome :

The composer and arranger of Beyoncé's "Naughty Girl" had probably felt some connection with oriental music, especially with this specific orchestration in this video:

Also there are covers, such as Sandal's"Araba" by the French singer Faudel, and Tarkan's "Simarik" by some Australians,Israeli artists, but they didn't bring anything special to the original song and they actually spoiled it...

I don't know any Turkish folk song with English lyrics other than

Nelly Furtado - Wait for you

Really, it has baglama sound as well.

I advise you to find good translations of the lyrics of the Turkish folk songs.
