1. Because the sunny days in Greece are more than 300 each year, especially in southern Greece
2. Because of the mild winter in Greece
3. Because of the variety of landscapes in Greece. Within a few km you will encounter fertile valleys, high mountains and beautiful beaches.
4. Because Greece was the country with the first high-level civilization in Europe and that is obvious everywhere with the numerous archaeological sites and monuments
5. Because the cuisine of Greece is tasty and healthy
6. Because of the thousands of miles of clean beaches, sandy or rocky
7. Because of the amazing blue color of the sea
8. Because I can enjoy a drink outside even in the winter
9. Because I love the sound of Greek music
10. Because I was born and raised here and I have chosen to live in Greece after experiencing the depressing monotony of northern Europe
11. Because I love the smell of thyme while I am driving my car in the countryside
12. Because I love to play tavli with friends

Because of the blue sees, warm people, great food...
I'm leaving for Greece in one week and I can't wait to smell the dry air and drink a nice cool retsina.

Love love love Greece! Especially because you get to take boats everywhere.

It has everything: cuisine, culture and nature. Just wish I would be able to speak Greek so I could sit under a pine tree with and old Greek guy, play domino's and talk politics lol...

I love my country because I go to my job in the morning and in the afternoon I go to a great beach(that very few people in the world have been to such a beautiful beach).Life is nice here.

Its my favorite country to visit, and its mostly because of the people. What ever country you go to, the people can make or break a vacation, and the Greeks have such a wonderful outlook and attitude on life. Their attutude is really infectious, that I cant wait to go back. The food is great (just avoid the Everest food chain).

do i love Greece,wow,yes i do. The country is beautiful,the islands devine. The Greeks are in my opinion, the most friendliest people i have ever met. I go there every year for my summer holiday and have traveled to many islands and Athens too and they always remember you and make you feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble they will help in anyway they can. Greece for me always.

I absolutely love it...its my country after all and it is beautiful especially in summer...we have a lot of days of sunshine throughout the year, beautiful islands (not to mention awesome beaches who can easily be compared to those of the Carribean, Hawaii and the lot)...and we know how to party (and have a good time generally)

well to me greece regardless what other ppl think.... greece is the only place that ppl run a normal natural life with nature surroundin them and i dunno but it just makes my mind relax :)

not to mention they have yummy food hehehe :)
