Do you love greece ?

im 14 and ive been to greece 3 or 4 times i cant remember & i love it.

i don't go on holiday much i usually go to somewhere else in england or wales, scotland, ireland. but the only other place is greece :)

i love the weather, how relaxing it is, it feels like there's no time over there i can just relax, i love the restaurants, the beaches, the views, the bars :)
i also love how trusting everyone is, like in shops they just leave things outside and trust that no one will take it, they will also serve you alcohol in shops even at my age, they treat everyone like adults. i feel more mature over there and more independent, its so much nicer than england.
i want to live over there and own some apartments or a restaurant or pub when im older.

do you like greece ? what do you like about it ?x

Do I love Greece? Of course I do!!! I have been to 26 foreign countries, and Greece is my favorite. It is the birthplace of my parents, and the birthplace of a great civilization.

I love the people, the history, the culture, the food, the islands, the sea, everything.

the rest of Europe is not more expensive than Greece, I started feeling
a strong affection for that piece of Land standing in S.E. of Europe, always resisting changes and time afflictions over it!
Yes, you're absolutely right on your lines about how people live there, and all Americans should--at least once--visit its Islands and enjoy the clear waters and the awsome food!
Have you ever been to Syros Island????
If not, try it next time!!!
Ciao...John-John.-

I do like the Aegean Sea with all those small and large beautiful islands.
I do like the weather there in those hot summer months.
I love the Greek kitchen and the variety of fish.
I do like the easy going and friendly people.

But.

I hate the noise made by the English and German Tourists.
I hate the owners of all those bars allowing them to be noisy.
I hate the unhygienic, disgusting ways they treating the used toilet paper.
I hate the lack of proper hygiene and medical care.

And I do not like the way they ripping the tourist off.
Sometimes - somewhere.

Tourist should be treated like a house cow to feed the starving family.
Make him happy like at home.
Not to skin the poor things alive so they never come back.

Unfortunately I've only been to a couple of islands off the Turkish coast but I loved what I saw. I'm guessing the mainland would be different but the islands were exact copies of small towns on the Eastern coast of Turkey. Same warm people, same weather, same sea (though I swear the sea was bluer in Simi), same lovely places but with a different language. And it was CHEAP, especially compared to Turkey. Not only was the food incredible but with prices like that we had a feast and I couldn't eat for two day afterwards. The islands I visited (Chios, Simi and Lesvos) were exactly the kind of places I'd want to spend the last days of my life on Earth, calm, friendly, relaxing (Not to so much Chios though, such a traffic for such a small city). This summer we're thinking of taking the train and going to Thessaloniki with a couple of friends, I'm sure I'll love it there though. Agapo Greece! (Yeah I'm still a lot behind on the language, sorry)

I was actually engaged to a greek man. I was gonna move there & everything. We just recently broke up, if we hadn't, id be in greece rite now for the holidays w/his family. Ive been there twice to visit with him and his family. Greece is beautiful PERIOD. Food is AMAZING!!! Now i love feta cheese (b4 meeting him, i wouldn't even try it) lol!! People are friendly, I was treated so hospitably by his family (especially his mom, GREAT COOK:), I have no complaints. An amazing and beautiful country with history surrounding it (Checked out the Parthenon eventho the lil museum was closed:( ). We mainly stayed in Athens and Corinth, but he took me to Loutraki, Glyfada, Plaka and other areas ive forgotten the names of:p I hope one day I can visit some of the islands for vacationing like Santorini. Last year's winter was cold but xmas there was so beautifully done. Summers are HOT, but April's weather is more my cup of tea. Overall, Greece is a beautiful country and anyone who visits will agree.

I m obsessed with Greece. I'm a wonnabe Macedonian! Your northern neighbour. I admit we try to steal name and history of a Greek region because we don't have our own history. Snif, snif, snif.

never been out of the country so the most i can get is eating Americanized foreign food...occasionally i can get genuine cuisine...
I presume it's lovely there, but last I heard they were having drought problems. Here in America it's not that we're not interested in other countries, rather we're very much isolated from the rest of the world except for whatever hits the news and you know that's not the best source

Yes I love Greece.
Greece is nice
The Greeks are just not like they used to be but still there is a chance to find greek hospitality
Greeks just don't care for their country but just for their own purse.
And not just the governors of the country - everyone is nowadays an egoist. But this is not just a greek phenomenon.
oh, by the way, I love the greek language, it's so clear. Just the mouths are not clear...
Greeks just don't deserve this country.

Geo Dat
greek chicks are very nice... ;)
