From an european country yes, you need one. But you can buy it at the airport: it costs 10 euros, and it's avalaible 3 months.
You don't need turkish money, they accept euros.

:(
it depens where from you are.. if you're British or an American you pay some money at the airport. but if you're from Slavic countries or Arabic countries you have to get a visa... check Turkish embassy's web site

www.turkishembassy.gov.tr

hi yes when you arrive in turkey at the airport you will need to put a £10 note in your passport for your visa they will then stamp your passport it also applies to children , enjoy your holiday xx

Yes you do need a visa for Turkey but you pay for it on arrival in Turkey. It costs £10 per person.
A word of advice on trips - if you go on the trip to Rhodes they will try and charge you an extra £10 they tell you this is for your visa back into Turkey - Please refuse to pay this as the visa you paid for on entry into Turkey covers this and is valid for 3 months

Yes you pay at airport £10,per person. Also pay in £10 notes or they will not be amused. Not to bad now at Dalaman with the new terminal open.Lots more booths now and you get through quicker.

No need to check with Turkish Embassy.I was in Marmaris for 2 weeks in July and can assure you it is £10 per person for a visa.

Assuming you are a UK citizen and you're just going for tourism, then yes you do.

You get it at the airport upon arriving in Turkey. It costs £10.00 and is a sticker that goes on a page in your passport. You can get it beforehand from the Consulate General in London, but they charge £50.00.

Take a £10.00 note with you for the purpose. As with most travel abroad, make sure that your passport isn't close to expiry.

It depends on where you are from. If you are from the EU you most likely wont need a visa. But the best thing will be to contact the Turkish embassy to make sure.

yes you get your passport stamped on arrival in turkey it is £10 and is a multiple entry visa lastind 3months this means you can come in and out of turkey to uk with the same visa as long as it is still valid so say you paid your £10 and stayed 2 weeks and later you decided to go back if it is under the 3 months since you went and still has time remaing when you want to leave turky again you do not have to pay the £10 again just show your visa stamp that is in passport and it is £10 per person even children and babies and has to be £10 notes and they do not except torn or defaced notes and if you put £20 note in you will not be given change so be warned and always have the correct amount

frankturk50
On arrival in Turkey if you have UK passport you will be required to purchase a Visa (adhesive stamp) it costs £10 and lasts 90days.Have a £10 note for each person if there are two persons they wont accept a £20 note nor will they give change. If you leave and re enter in the 90days you can use same visa.

I went on a British passport about 18 months ago. I paid £10 at the airport for the stamp. They accepted sterling. Check with the embassy for current info. UK Foreign Office http://www.fco.gov.uk/servlet/Front?pagename=OpenMarket/Xcelerate/ShowPage&c=Page&cid=1007029396086 has contact details.
