yes you still have to pay £10 but if more than 1 person is in your party make sure than they all have a £10 note because they won't accept anything else.

Alex
Last time I visited it was £10 for the British, but other Scandinavians in my party went in for free. The charge for an entry visa also applies to overland and port entry, as well, not just air!

just to add, yes it is £10 GBP, but it must be an english £10 note. I know they dont accept scottish ones and presume it will be the same for welsh

Unfortunately yes, unless you are German. The entry visa is £10 per person and the visa is stamped in your passport. If Turkey enters the EU it will have to drop this charge.

parapete
yes as you can see from all the answers it is still £10 each person ( one note per person)( take good notes, not crumpled up old ones) It is not IMPOSSIBLE to get through using a different payment, ( I have witnessed it,) but you don't want that hassle! Just take a nice clean £10 note for each traveller. The holidays have been greattttt!

Kate
If you're travelling from the UK then they take £10 per person, including children. Travelling from many EU countries they take €15. You'll be fine. Take a tenner for everyone travelling.

Dark Crusader
yes ten british pound per person, when we went tho we were able to give them a twenty pound note for the two of us.

You pay 10 euro for the visa.
It is nothing compared to how much Turkish people pay to go to other countries... (they pay at least 75 Euro for the visa)
