Do you think most Greeks have olive skin, dark hair and dark eyes?

According to these maps they do. What do you think? Are these maps accurate? If they arent accurate then why would they lie about it and make these maps?

Olives have three colors. Green. Brown or Black.
Greeks are none of those, sorry.
We are a beautiful race and we have no connection to your fair beauty as you so openly claim all the time.
Besides, why are you so concerned what Greeks look like?
Are you afraid what your children will look like? If so got to Albania and get the right person for you.
We will not mind, be sure of that .

BTW about time you quit the provoking questions and do some other questioning.

You are obsessed, aren't you? You used to be kinda funny, but now you are just boring.

Artemis
Don't you get bored posting all the same sort of questions? You need another hobby.

As far as I can tell - the maps are accurate - Greeks have white skin - with an olive base tone - whereas the Northern paler countries have a pink base tone which you should know - if you know anything about makeup.
True there aren't many TRUE blondes here in Greece - dyed - yes .... also Greeks tend to look at light brown/mousey hair and call it blonde - whereas to a Northern country - blonde is from a yellow to white(ish) - mousey brown is light brown to Brits (for example).
So there you go you answered all your questions about skin tone and hair colour. Personally I dislike blonde hair (unless the person is a true Nordic type)

The sun has to do with what colour hair/skin we have - the lighter the skin/'eyes/hair the less sun there is to absorb - so obviously the Greeks tend to have darker skin/eyes/hair to protect them from the glorious summer days here. So you must live in a miserable sunless country ..... just as I did growing up

Mistress
No,I think they have brown hair, medium skin and brown eyes. The people in Greece are usually like that.
Of course there are loads of exceptions.
I have dark hair and pale skin.
And I am greek.

Pictures of real Greeks from Greece, showing the variety of the Greek Race. I will post Greeks from all ages, but mainly young and middle-aged. These pictures are from Greek TV, magazines or the Internet and show actors, singers, athletes, presenters, models, TV show contestants and non-famous Greeks. I made this site for people to look at some real Greeks. Many ignorant or malicious people spread propaganda about Greece, e.g., that we are not white, or that there are different "races" in Greece. The Greek Race is part of the white race and we Greeks think that we are Greek, not members of any "races". Our Race is Greek. We have our own Greek look, and sometimes we look like people from other white countries. The Greek Race is beautiful and we have the most beautiful, intense eyes in the world.~

ha ha the ancient Greeks were with brown hair of blond , blue , Greek eyes, they started to get olive skin when they started mixing with Turks, many olive skinned Greeks say to me you dont look like a Greek girl i say i look like a real Greek and you look mixed with Turk ( they get mad ) but original Greek were like kinda white looking

Balthasar
I don't think of Greeks in those terms that you describe.

I think of Greeks as perfect skin, beautiful hair, vibrant eyes, and wonderful people full of culture.

Those are the words I use to describe my fellow compatriots.

I know it's a racist and provocation question and people shouldn't answer but I always hope that you will learn something from their words. Don't stick on that too much because hair, eyes and skin color are different and that's the beauty of it. We all look and like various things. Give it a rest and do something better with your time.

There is no such thing as "olive skin". Undertones maybe but we have WHITE skin.

Vera
The ancient Greeks where blond and blue-eyed.Nowadays there is a variety of characteristics but I don't feel there is a representative "figure".I live in Athens and I really don't see a lot of people with dark hair and eyes.Crete though has a lot of people that look like this.Especially girls. As far as the maps are concerned, they are probably based on historical data, not on statistics..

Selena
Greek olives are really nice and healthy...I really like Kalamata olives!
Greeks must have olive skin because most of their cosmetics contain olive oil which until recently was the best oil on the market! The Greeks must suffer enormously now that 100% organic coconut oil is controlling the planet! Do you think they will plant coconut trees now instead since it has become more lucrative?

I saw some Greeks with very beautiful green eyes there and they also had blonde people but the majority I met had dark hair!
