That would be a long bridge.
Whos going to pay for it.
I dont think either Cyprus or Turkey would have that kind of money to spend on a bridge.

It took 200 years for us to dig a tunnel from UK to France, so you better start the ball rolling.

Well if they do it, it will defiently be the longest bridge in the world... And it will be very very useful.
It will make all the imported goods cheaper, and also reduce the transportation costs of exported goods.
It would be very beneficial to Cypriots. As ironical as may sound I think Greeks should endorse this. Coz it will help a lot for sure.
I know that now they are building an underwater pipe system that will carry fresh water. Greeks are considering buying that water, coz they need it for sure...
Just like that, a bridge like this will be very beneficial to both communities to Cyprus. Whether greeks like it or not, closest country is Turkey and these two countries should help each other in these kind of stuff. However before the complete solutution on cyprus problem, this cannot go anywhere more than a dream coz Greeks wont endorse it right now and without the greek help; there are not enough population in North Cyprus to make this kind of a project cost effective...
But it is definetly a good idea and worth to talk about it...

Cyprus was invaded by extreme force in 1974, all the international conditions recognize this and building a bridge to Cyprus not only it will harm the island but also the wellbeing of the Turkish people only imagine how much this will cost!

Greeks already tried to do that during the Asia Minor campaign resulting in the death of thousands of civilians, Turks and non-Turks. Apart from making colossal fools out of yourselves and trying to prevent the international press from dwelling on the campaign's disastrous and shameful results you achieved nothing. I cannot understand how someone can write and desire such barbarous things. Shame on you.

I support Trotsky Kerensky idea to build bridge to Southern Cyprus. It's about time Italians and Greeks invade Turkey and bomb the hell out of her satanic bloodthirsty tribes, probably do the same home-torching, wife-raping and brutal killing as the Turks had done to the Anatolian and Aegean natives. Oh yea, it's about time the Turks get such special treatment. Such people shouldn't be allowed to live.
