Well, an event to shock people may make you famous, but the more important question is: if you are producing something worthwhile, would you want that kind of fame? The difference between genius and attention-craver, don't you think?

When someone does a good job they appreciate it but easily forget,while when someone makes a bad mistake like having an affair with someone ,oh he'll be famous for that lol

But no, you don't always have to be a bohemian person...you can walk around without an underwear like Britney Spears, that doesn't require much imagination like this one does :)

Yes, you can be famous just because you did a good job. There are all kinds of celebrities out there that you never hear a sad story about like Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Denzel Washington, etc. All 3 of these are Oscar winners!

Not necessarily sad, or soul-baring. Maybe do something, anything, that defies the mundane everyday. We're all looking for salvation from boredom.

I think it's possible.......think about it in terms of some athletes who are regarded as "goody-goods" for lack of a better term just because they arent out partying or tied to some big drama story.....their relatively quiet demeanor is what keeps ppl interested because it's something different........different from what normally passes as our celebrities today......doing a "good job" is seldom praised these days because it's often expected......why work elsewise?

I don't think so. There are many examples in the world but in Turkey it's a bit different. We still have some very valuable people like Sezen Aksu, Åžener Åžen, Kemal Sunal, Haluk Bilginer...They're really famous but I don't remember them because of their tragic life experiences!

Yes, I think you should be famous for the good things you have done. Unfortunately, most people are remembered when they experience something extremely tragic or incredibly touching. Being remembered, therefore, makes them famous.
