Yes. I live in northern Italy and travel most weekends and holidays. With the night trains, Paris, Vienna, Barcelona, Munich, Frankfurt, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Nurnberg, Ljubljana, Lyon, Nice, and most of Italy are easy weekend trips.

With the budget airlines, most of the rest of Europe is also easy and affordable.

Up till 5 years ago I had not been abroad, apart from living in Germany for 4 years back in the early seventies, since then I have been to Crete twice, Goa twice, Rhodes, Kos, Zante, Egypt and did a cruise going to Santorini, Corfu, Kefalonia, Turkey,Zante Rhodes, Athens,Slovenia.Croatia twice Italy and Venice. My husband leaving me did me a favour

Depends on what you mean by a lot. In the past year I've been on 3 short trips of a week each abroad, I'd do more but can't afford to.

I have travelled quite a bit but my son must suffer from permanent jet lag.Last month it was two weeks going across China on holiday followed by one week in Athens on business, straight on then to Copenhagen to meet up with his girlfriend for 3 days then back to Dublin.Next stop is a long weekend in New York and Nova Scotia.Nice for some!

Yeah, every summer my family & I go on a vacation somewhere in the USA, I've been to almost all 50 states, excluding, Idaho, Hawaii & Alaska. Been to Canada, both coasts. Great area!
But this year I'll finally be going out of North America...
10 weeks & I'll be going to Athens!

Can't wait!

This summer I hope to go to NYC -- haven't been to that city, just Niagra Falls & Buffalo--northern NY.
