Does Ryanair believe customer service only applies in the event of a crash?

We never travel Ryanair, too many complaints with no end result. We always use Easyjet, & have never had a complaint. Neither one is really as cheap as you think, once everything is added on, its about double the advertised cost. I think the days of the really cheap flights are over.

Who gives a damn...I always bring my own nosh anyhows - as long as the air-steward don't pester me and leave me reading my paper or looking out of my window, waiting for the joyful sight of Málaga, 15,000 feet up. This isn't 1978, when passengers would be treated almost like royalty. One must admit that, despite the crap Ryanair/easyJet gets - they get you to your destination just as quick as any other. Nice one, Old Know All.

If it's waiter service and "freebies" you want then go with a big carrier at silly prices.

Just think of Ryanair as a bus with wings. you don't have people coming around giving free food and drink on you bus journeys do you?

Icarus
I'm with you on that one!
I was flying with BE. We'd all sat down and one air hostess was giving out pretzels- to eat- she was being followed by a second hostess who then sprayed you and your pretzel with fly spray.
Cheap air lines are pretty cr@ppy but i guess you get what you pay for.

old know all
Ryanair customer service is an oxymoron. Ryanair are very good at moving people from one place to another very cheaply, but when they say no frills, they mean NO frills (unless they can charge you extra for it). If you don't like what you get - tough.

fardy
Customer this c...customer that ...what do you want ???your cake and eat it ..

They are cheap no frills and that's what you get ..We are to bloody soft these days when it comes to customer service blimey 20 years ago we had none throughout the country ...Look you pay British airways price and when they treat you like they have done over the last few days then you something to moan about !!!

saffmonster
I don't think they believe customer service exists at all!

Paul W
I would imagine that they offer pretty slim services as a way to keep thier fares so low.

radstar67
Probably! But then...

As they say....."You pays your money and you makes your choice"

They offer customer service?!!! When I had a complaint they just fobbed me off. Its all about profit not customer satisfaction with them.

They must, because everything else they do sucks. Granted, their customer service can afford to suck, because they're cheap, and people will buy their tickets anyway.

What can you get for 63 pence?
(This is a line from a song.)
Well, you certainly put me in my place. I'm just going to crawl in my hole and cry. I have often had horrible service for high priced airlines. That's even worse. You should write them a letter, though. They might send you some vouchers or something. Virgin once sent me a voucher for $150 when i wrote them a letter of complaint.
