There's a Comunity Law which provides the documentation needed for transportation of animals (pets) within the limits of the European Community.
I suggest you ask first the competent veterinarean authorities of the place you live at, and if not enlightend, just send me an e-mail and I'll give you instructions, like names of greek-british animal welfare societies.

you can find all info here bellow:

http://ec.europa.eu/food/animal/liveanimals/pets/comm_intra_en.htm
http://www.defra.gov.uk/animalh/quarantine/pets/procedures/support-info/countries.htm

Miss Kitty
You need to consult the DEFRA website to find out what conditions apply to exporting a puppy to Greece.

Then you can search on-line for animal cargo handlers, or if you want to do it all yourself, research which airlines fly to Greece and carry animals.

SUE G online
we sent two dogs by pet courier and it cost £1,100, you need to apply for export licences from DEFRA for every country they enter, dogs have to be micro chipped, rabies injection then blood test for rabies inj. to make sure enough serum was used, then health check for their pet passport. the down side is dogs cannot return to uk until 6 months after their rabies injection, so if you thinking of holiday all this has to be started a good 8 months before you go. have fun
