depends whereabouts in Europe you go. the further north you are, the colder it will be. i'd guess most places will be pretty similar weather to what it was like in Paris though.

you must be amricane when you as a quastion like that.... It would be like me asking you how the weather is in The States in December.... It all depens on where you are going.

In December the temperatures in Europe are between -30 and 20 degrees celsium!!!

It can be very changable, but I would lean towards a winter wardrobe rather than bemuda shorts and flip-flops if I was you.

Cold, wet possibly snowy esp in Northern Europe. I'd bring some warm clothes if were you especially gloves and scarfs

Plan on cold temps any where in Europe in Dec, Jan, Feb.
Colder as you go north and in the upper elevation mountains.

Europe is pretty large. You'll probably find that in the North of Norway (artic circle) is a little more 'chilly' than the south tip of Italy or Spain. Wind & Altitude will also have an effect as will micro climates (London is around 3 degrees warmer than anywhere else in England)

Mostly the weather in European countries is more or less the same in winter : themperatures will vary from 5 degrees Celsius to minus 5 degrees Celcius.

I would certainly bring thick sweaters, a warm coat, gloves, and maybe a shawl. Also good warm shoes, which also can stand rain and/or snow.

I have a friend in Simi Valley, I met her at another friends house in Philly in March 2003, it was the first time in her life she saw REAL snow, (and there was LOTS of it) and she also for the first time experienced what "freezing" really means, LOL.

Most of Europe has continental climate. This means 4 seasons, including hot summers and cold wintes. Most of Europ will have temperature arround 0-5 C in December, probably with snow. Naturally soemetimes it is wormer oc colder. januarry is the coldest month, so end of december can be pretty cold sometimes too.
If you go to Mediteranina, expect more sunny weather, temperature maybe arround 10, but be avare that it can be very cold if the weather gets windy and cold. If you go to mediteranian, a raincoat winjacket is helpfull. If you will visit Scandinavia or Russia be prepared to experience freezing cold and an everage of minus 20-30 C. In any case, bring warm clothes. A hat and gloves are always useful fashon, and for Scandinavia..make it dubble. And good, warm shoes, woolen soks are also helpfull. Hope you have a nice trip and if you are cold think about going to sauna. :-)

depends what part of europe you were planning to visit. most of europe from italy north is going to be cold in december. best bets would be greece (southern part) italy, spain or portugal if you are looking for some place not so cold
