Does anyone no how warm it is in crete? Im going on holiday for 2 weeks next friday.?

Hello!I dunno about Crete but today in Cyprus the temp went on 38C!Crete isnt as hot..but it will still be hot so take a good suncream..and drink lots of water :p

It is really hot! So take some light clothes.

was there around the same time in 2003 and it was very hot up in the 90-100f so take plenty of t shirts and suncream and dont forget to drink plenty of bottled water .
you will have a great time crete is a wonderful place .

hi i usually go to crete this time of year. But this year going in august as our friends are moving out there. It is really warm. Dont forget to take insect repellant. They love us juicy brits out there
Temp wise i would say around 28 degrees - donw the beach some days i have seen it get as hot as 34

Hi 33 in Heraklion, so usually hotter on the coast. We were there twice in July and it got over the 100s.
Its a wonderful island, the people are the best.
Please take my advice and go on a trip to Spinalonga an island off the coast of Plaka, you can get boats from Ag Nik. Its an old leper colony,but dont let that put you off its a ghost town now absolutely fascinating. I also read the book "The Island" by Victoria Hislop. If you get it you wont regret it.
Its set on the island of Spinalonga, and is a wonderful story of how a Cretan family cope with the situation. Please dont think its heavy its uplifting.

Its bloody hot .......

Just got back Tuesday and it was hitting the 30's don't take not notice of the weather reports we did and they were very wrong, they said about 23/25 it was 28 in the shade.

It sometimes starts off cloudy in the morning but don 't be fooled by this.

What aiport are you flying into? we flew into Chania, just to let you know this is US airbase and you will see and hear F14 jets, we stayed in Platanias and it was lovely.

Crete is a beautiful country to visit and we had a great holiday I went with my wife and 5 year old son.

It is absolutely boiling. I went there a few years ago and wore trousers and a long sleeved top on the plane over, and as soon as I got off I could feel the dry heat all over my body. Remember to take plenty of sun lotion! Have a great holiday! It's lovely out there :)

Watching the travel programme an hour ago and they focused on the greek islands over the next 5 days - 30c plus. Wish I was going. Enjoy!

It is quite warm. It feels like 35C during the day and goes down to ~27C during the night. But it is very dry and the wind from the open sea is very refreshing. So, although it is very warm, it is quite pleasant.
