EU/Turkey question again...a "Christian club" EU, but WHERE is the cradle of Christianism?

And where is Holy Mary's house?
And where is Noe's Arch?
And where is the Orthodox Christians' "Rome"?

I don't understand...
Additional Details
The common sterotype is :Occident is Christian, Orient is not-Christian ( Muslim, etc).
But in fact, all the "Abraham"s religions ( Judaism,Christianism and Islam) were "born" in the Middle-East, weren't they?

Well main problem is EU officials and local politicians ( God , they are made me sick ! ) act too hypocritical.

They don't want to see a new star at the EU flag with Turkey's name., But they doesn't have TESTIC@LS to said that clearly.

Honest I love that, because I don't trust EU's interest, EU's Economy or EU's progress .. not EU's army nor EU's future.

Am I one of them? People who against the EU?

Yes sir .. I am.

Our ancestors draw our borderlines with blood, not ink. We defend this country against enemies who comes every where on this planet.

Turkey had a future, we had a accelerating progress .. 80 years ago we had big nothing after wars; but we build a supreme country from a big nothing at 80 years.

All we need 80 more year and we will be a part of the superpower club , one of the rulers .. again .. but when this time comes no one won't remember EU and EU's dreams.

EU represents past .. we belongs the future.

its all alot of hypocritical garbage mate.

u ever wonder why white christians make jesus blonde haired, blue eyed and 6ft tall? u ever see those paintings? they dont like accepting that everything started in the middle east.

Dmn serious
It's not a matter of geography my friend.
It has to do with some major differences, love for Christianity vs. domination of the world for Islam.
And it's not a matter of being black or white.
Christian ideas which were born in Middle East are not being followed by the Muslims.

I think the religion thing is an excuse. What EU represents is, "I have and I don't want to share, I don't want competition, I want to be superior and I don't give a damn if my rich members don't conform to my humane principles, did I say I have all and I want all?"

The starting ideal was a nice one, but the actual EU didn't live up to it.

the Orthodox Christians Rome??

I liked that one!!

you know very well what Byzantine empire represented

that was the Christians Rome, the capital of Byzantine

wasnt it?

but what EU has to do with all these? Dont be naive, this is not a war between christian and non christian countries

besides, the leaders of EU mostly ARENT christians

never forget that

crazygirl158
Yeah, Jesus was a Jew, he had brown hair and brown eyes, but Whites tend to make him look white and give him blue ayes and blonde hair.
Yes Middle east is the place of birth of all three religions but I dont see its connection to the EU question either..

Ladybug Queen of Lazistan
whats your point ??

The 'Christian EU' and 'Muslim' Turkey explanations are not only about religions. It's mostly about culture that have been shaped with religions of that country/ nation. The traditions, lifestyle etc are much different of a christian nation than a muslim nation. And it's not only about Christianity and Islam, for ex: Japanese traditions and culture is WAY different than any other nation's culture. Of course people who live in big cities or live in metropolitan' lifestyle will be same, but the common culture of the nation has lots of differences.

Conclusion: The problems are not based on religions, they're about the cultures mixed with religions.

TO crazy girl..you mean jesus had blue eyes and blond hair..and was six foot tall!!!!..well that would make him a FYROMIAN..carrying NOKIA 500.. To the tune of (nagyla harva).. with sandals selling incense sticks...in OMONIA....<heart of athens>

I don't see your point. Anatolia and Istanbul did play central roles in the early evolution of Christianity, but how is that related to the EU/Turkey question?

ReberYoreEzNizanim
EU will not except Turkey because the politicians are corrupted. Countries politicians are choisen by USA. USA financed Tayyip Erdogan (Current President).
Country is in big dept to USA. Will not be able to clear it. Plus very anti-democratic, because Islam is being used to brain wash people that these all are fate and no one can do anything to correct the problems but the god. I belive what Aziz Nesin said about Turkish people, which was " ninety percent of Turkish people are stupid but must of them think they are in the clever ten percent." :-) Tayyip Erdogan focuses building more mosks rather then Universities. EU only except Democratic countries and every one knows that Islam is man religion. No rights to woman. Basically Islam is not a democratic religion.

No, you got it all wrong, European Union is a Atheist Club and doesn't let Turkey in because Turkey is too Christianic.

Where's Holy Mary's house anyway? I bet that not even Christ knows that.
Where is Noah's Ark? Or where the Ark was landed? In Ararat and there is not any link to the Turkish civilization, nothing, it was Armenian before the Genocide and now it's Kurdish.
Where is the Orthodox Christians Rome? Constantinople was the second Rome, but that was before the Turks take the city in 1453 and slay the population. Where are the Orthodox Christians of Turkey? That must be your question.

There is no need to stereotype for a country like Turkey.
