Europe is composed from many nations, the oldest, most historic and more influential (at least at the taking off of human kind, philosophy, sciences, etc.) being Greece!
Since there are many nations and states, as well as languages and cultures (all born from Greek), different country music have been developed!

If I understood your question right, then Europe is NOT a country but a continent with many countries in it! I think there are 54 countries if I'm not mistaken..
