Hell no! I am on long holiday in Belgium (I live in Britain), and I love it here- there is far more culture than in America, since Europe is so much older, and the Americans need to realise that they all came from somewhere to begin with.

i went to europe last year and i loved it. It's so cool cause u can totally b urself everyone is so busy in there own world that if ur not a friend or a foe u dont matter meaning u can let urself free, i no i sound lik a hippy! I've never been to austria but it sounds lik a nice place, btw americans are a bit arrigont so i wouldnt worry to much bout them

Wow! You must be meeting some nasty and rude people!

Come to Colorado, where so many people ski, and we love the European mountains, and the accents...If you ski, and want to teach, you could get a job in a second! People just eat up the accent, etc.! Assume you know skiing better than the locals.

no way!!! Europeans are SO cool. I have a German GAP student at my school and he is one of the nicest and coolest people i know!! I have been over to Europe sooo many times cause I have family over there and you guys are so down to earth. I must say though France is a little over the top but hey it has class at least. I am actually from AUS so it is always nice to head over to Europe to get away for a while.

I would prefer to say that I am from Europe than from America any day....

Thats because Americans are so close minded. Most of them have never left their state let alone their home country or continent.

I am American and moved to Germany in December. I have vacationed in France, Italy, Switzerland, Monaco, Holland, Belgium. Some are better than others. I like it here. I really miss the "convienence" of America but overall, its a wonderful place to be. Each country here has a completely different culture and its really interesting. Americans who havent really been here, they only judge by what they see on TV or what they hear. And that is nowhere near how it really is!

Europe is great! Id have to agree, France kinda sucks...in MY opinion. Not my fav

no man don't bring urself down cuz' of that ..europe is way better then america...u can do anything u want europe u have everything there u can go clubing at age of 14... and nah france is pretty cool too...the thing with america is that they don;t hav any real culture so yah thats why they don;t understand the rest of the world.

I don't know who did that but most americans love europeans, we just haven't heard of Austria that much, I have because i have been there, and i am partially of Austrian descent, but I doubt they made fun of you
