I've never been to athens or corfu..but I have been to paris and rome. I was in italy for 7 days...spent two days in rome..it was wonderful. I spent 7 days in Paris alone and that was wonderful as well..i do want to see Athens eventually..but I would say if you've never been to any of th eplaces. Definitely Paris and Rome first...Rome before Paris if you're a little iffy about French food..but they both have great culture and people..yes French people are nice...you just have to attempt to speak the language. (attempt..they don't care how horrible you sound).

Its depend the period you want to go..for summer time i definetely reccomend you Corfu Island, for any other period all cities has something special, sure more beautifl is Paris but historically Athens is the MUST that everyone have to see..also great night life

Sad isn't it when we have to make those choices, those either or dilemmas. All three cities have their charm and are uniquely different. Been to all of them several times, but I cannot choose for you. Then let me put some more doubt in your mind. How about Budapest and Prague?

Athena.
I'd go for paris...And of course i'd choose Corfu cuz it's really an awesome island.

Both Paris and Rome have more to offer in the way of sightseeing.
But you need a lot more time in those cities. If you go to Athens you will see the Acropolis and the nightlife will be a little more forthcoming and comfortable from the very first night. Which is why
I would definitely pick Athens. Corfu is very nice but pick Athens first. All three places have really neat things to do and see.

Frankly, i can't choose between all these! Paris is wonderful, Rome is magnificent, Athens is a place everyone should see, because of the Acropolis and many important monuments, and Corfu is also a picturesque island, with interesting architecture. The choice is yours!

Paris is definitely a better place to be! I've been to both, and like both, but Paris wins, hands down!

I've never been to Athens or Corfu, and I'd love to see them both. Can't help you there.

This depends on where your interests lie and where your heart longs to go. I like Paris very much, and enjoyed other parts of France. Haven't been to Greece. so cannot speak to that, but I've always wanted to see the Greek islands, so start and white glistening in the sun. I would choose Rome, Roma, and all things Italia. I have been blessed to travel all over Italy, as far north as Lake Como, all in between, and as far south as Sicily. Rome is a wonderful three day adventure. You can walk to all major points of interest. Go to Piazza Navonna in the evenings to see all the artists set up displays. See the Coliseum backlit at night. Throw coins in the Trevi Fountain. Window shop down the Via Condotti. Climb the Spanish Steps and sit down on them to watch other travellers passing by. Buy a good pair of leather shoes or at least, gloves. Go to the Vatican. Touch Rome. Smell Rome. Roma e bella. The people are wonderful. Stop often along the way for cate or gelato, the best in the world. Wear comfortable shoes.
Three days is full of adventure, and you may even be able to squeeze in a day trip to Firenze, See the David. Wait in line; it's worth it. Post again if you do decide to go; I'd love to recommend a wonderful trattoria near the Pantheon. Ciao e buon viaggio.

Athens for the once in a lifetime chance to see antiquity. (three days in Athens is enough)
Corfu is magnificent but it is an island to relax on
Rome too busy and noisy, Paris if you are going with your sweetheart

I've been to both Paris and Rome, and I definitely think Paris is much better. If you like big cities like NYC, Paris is definitely the choice for you. It's buzzing and there is so much to do all the time. It's very easy to get around Paris. Rome, on the other hand, is kind of dead. It's not as hip or cool as Paris. Also, it's usually cheaper to fly to Paris than Rome anyway.
