Costaki, there will be war between Rhodes and Corfu, hehehe...
Rhodes for me, because it is my island, the medieval city, an air of Europe...

I would appreciated if you refer to me as Greek and for greece as Greece. Is a matter of grammar and proper manners when referring to a country's name and it;s people to use capital letters.

Since your question applies to Greeks, my favorite place is Corfu where I also live and enjoy the beauty of the whole island.

Here in Crete, i think the most beautiful town is Chania (and i don't live there....)

Corfu because is "my island".Just kidding :)
The Municipality of Corfu is located at the center of the eastern side of the island of Corfu. It is the oldest municipality on the island and one of the olders in Greece. It was established on January 6th, 1866, after the Unification of the Seven Islands with Greece, but under the present legal status exists since 1912.

In 1997 the Municipality of Corfu was characterized "Kapodistriac" and under the new conditions its borders were enlarged to include the communities of Alepou, Evropouli and Kanalia. The Municipality of Corfu includes the urban sectors of: Analipsis, Kanoni, Figareto, Stratia, Gouvia, Kontokali, Kyra Chrisikou, Potamos, Temploni and also the islands of Vido and Lazareto.

The Municipality of Corfu is the largest Municipality on the island with about 40,000 inhabitants. It is the administrative, financial and commercial center of the island. In its boundaries are located the main facilities and services like the port, airport, shopping centers, museums, churches (orthodox and catholic), etc, including the great attraction of the "Old Town". It is located between two fortresses, this been the reason that the City of Corfu is the only city in Greece that has been characterized as "KASTROPOLIS".

Have fun everywhere in Greece the whole country is marvelus.

The whole country is beautiful, but for me the best place is Cyclades islands.

Just white houses, blue sea and sky and the color of the land, all shed in bright Mediterranean sun. Nothing else. It's amazing how much beauty can there be in such a simple scenery.

Less is more...and that suits me best.

Greek villages that came to mind...)
(I m not from there..nor Larissa..nor Thessaly at all...)

the world too) is anywhere where I can sit down, relax and enjoy an exceptional view or scenery....
