I would go to Paris because I can take the night train from here in Italy in each direction and maximize my time sightseeing. I have actually done this a few times. Once I went and spent the day at Versailles and then came back to Paris and went to the Eiffel Tower to take some pictures and found a nice place for dinner before heading back to the train station. Other times, I have gone to the museums or shopping for the day.
London would be a good destination too. It's been a while since I've been there. I'd probably spend time at the Tower of London and decide what else to do from there. Generally, I like to walk a city and take photos of things that interest me. Both London and Paris are pretty easy to get around in using the underground. |

I would choose London. Paris is overrated. Too many tourists for the main attractions. ' Le Louvre and the Eiffel Tower are crowded. Dog crap litters many sidewalks. |

Paris. The main sights are closer to one another so you will definitely be able to see them all in one day. In London they are a little more spread apart. |

Neither, both cities are dirty, over-rated tourist traps... |
