Not in the least.
Aside from the flag, you could have said the same of Spain.. and still have been wrong.
Having been to both, of course... and all over both countries... there's little by way of comparison other than they both border on the Med. Sea (but even then, the coastline towns vary-far along Italy to France). Italian towns have a central church in near every little town, for one. And PS -- that's Ireland's flag that resembles that of Italy not France.. don't different colors mean anything? |

french cities are ghetto.. and unstable.. and crime rates are high.
italian cities still aren't ghetto, nor unstable, and their crime rates are a lot lower. |

Like, for example, France has more Chinese and English and Australian and British people. In Italy, it's mostly Italians and English and German people.
This is not true at all. italy has a lot of foreign people living there legal and illegal. They have a lot of problems there just because of that.
I would choose Italy because people are more friendly and kind. Italy is touristic country and you have a lot of possibilities there. Italian people are loud and when they scream you would think they are angry, but they are not, it is just the way they are. Italy definitely!! |

Yes, most of your lists are correct, I kind of agree with it. But, Italians are loud but warm, they will treat you like queen, compared to french-they have their own pride as high as Eiffel, don't be surprise if they look at you up and down because you aren't wearing any LV's or Hermes product! France is more expensive, and classy and clean compared to Italy. I want to add the similar things of them, both Italians and french-they've the best chicks in the world!! |

Your list makes it seem that they are similar, but when you go there, they are very different. They have their own uniqueness.
By the way, you forgot nasal arrogance ;-) |

yes! because....
both speak similar romance languages
both are of catholic tradition
both have mediterranean shores
both are of strong wine culture
both are very historic and turistic
both are centralized republics
both have very similar flags (just one color is different)
both capitals Paris and Rome are twin cities
both are famous for good food
both are famous for fashion and well dressing
both have the same number of inhabitants
both have the same economic level
both are of "expresso culture"
both drive a lot of scooters
etc.
also my friends have been there and they all said France has a more nationalities living there than Italy. Like, for example, France has more Chinese and English and Australian and British people. In Italy, it's mostly Italians and English and German people.
Cool question! |
