Going back to Poland - will i look like the other Polish girls?

There is no such thing as a "Polish" look. People in Poland are fair-haired like Scandinavians, dark haired like Italians, red-haired like Irish; the complexion is all shades, from china-white to black (two of Polish show-biz celebrities are... Afro-Polish, to be politically correct). No, there is nothing "outlandish" about your looks, so do not worry.

I don't know why you're worried about it. To the Polish girls and guys you might look American, and different, and interesting. Besides, how much can you do about it if you don't fit in, looks-wise? Have plastic surgery? If it's any comfort, if I saw you on the street in America I'd guess that you were of Polish or Ukrainian descent, or at least from eastern Europe.

No, you dont look polish at all. this might be an ignorant answer but Iv been to Poland for the first time for a month in December and coming from my eyes, majority of the girls there are blonde straight hair, dressed VERY nice and have a slim body. You look like your American..not Polish/European.

surprisingly, they even look like some people that live in the us that aren't of polish descent. they aren't behind in fashion either, so you will probably blend in... if you're going to go to krakow to the jagielonski university then you will most definately blend in... just be sure to speak polish...

Yeah you look Polish,you remind me of a french girl i seen in Dominican last week while on vacation accept her hair was more like curled or something like that,have a great time in Poland =] you`ll fit in.

It's difficult to tell with that myspace style picture. It might be easier to help you if you put up a more realistic picture. -_~
Just keep in mind Poland is alot more diverse than people think it is, and many Poles near the Ukrainian border tend to have darker hair and other features. At least you have the blue eyes. ^-^
I feel I don't look Polish at all, all my cousins have blue eyes, blond hair, and tan easily. I have hazel eyes, brown hair, and am very pale. (Whoever says Polish girls are pale is wrong, they tan to a very lovely and healthy color.)
But you shouldn't worry about "blending in." Contrary to popular belief, Poles love foreigners and if you have a cute foreign accent when you speak Polish all the better! In Poland looking different is a greater conversation starter.

Yes you do look polish.. awww lucky you get to go to university ..IN POLAND!!!! Im polish too and my parents moved here when i was like uhh 1 and i always wanted to go back, and no it is not a silly question, it is the ones i love, except never get picked for best answer :( OH well Have fun in poland
