have been twice this year and I stayed in The Grand Ideal Hotel, which is on the main road opposite migros and mcds. Its a stones throw from the beach and you can walk down to the nightlife on the longbeach or get dolmus there or to bar street end.

The second time I stayed in The Sinem Apartments (its also a hotel) which I found the location much better. this is on a side street behind Vohue Jewellers on the main road, near point sentre and Gima. A much shorter walk to longbeach restaurants and bars.

Depends which is more important, i paid about the same for both holidays (Sinem with first choice) and preffered Sinem overall for the location. The grand ideal was much classier than sinem which was more budget but the room and facitlties were more than adequate and so this won for me mainly due to location.

I stayed at the Tekin Apartments in Marmaris, right opposite Macdonalds. They were very nice, bright, quite large, and clean apartments. The one's at the front were noisy though due to the traffic but one at the rear should be fine. When booking request a quiet room.

there is a hotel called the inan and it is about a ten/fifteen minute walk to point centre and beach (bars like Beach club etc) it is a lively family run apartments and the staff are fantastic, there is entertainment on a few nights a week and music every night, food and drink is served through the day and is very reasonably priced. if you dont like the walk there is a taxi rank around the corner n its about 5 lira for a taxi to point centre. there is also a 24 hour bar right next door, you can check out prices at otbeach.com or email the hotel directly at inanapart@hotmail.com i'm just back, i went with three single friends and we had an absolute ball, it is also very secure and there is someone acting as a security guard 24 hours a day, you can get air con ect in your room too. i know i have waffled on a bit but i hope this helps.

Take a look on www.travelreplublic.co.uk
If you put a search on accommodation only in marmaris it brings up loads of choices of Hotels it even gives you a good description of the hotels and also the location address.
l don't know if you are wanting a package holiday but once you see the prices that travel republic charge for the accommodation (you will be amazed at how cheap they are)
you might just decide to book your own holiday on the internet
They do also do package holidays, l hope this web site helps you find what you are looking for

Have been to Marmaris and really enjoyed it. It is quite a large place compared to other Turkish resorts, but it has everything to offer. Loads of brilliant places to eat, lovely marina, nice beaches, great boat trips out, great excursion trips. The further out of town the quieter the place. I would definitely love to return there now i have a family. Go for it, a winner.

looks nice, cheap fake clothing in the bazaar, very hot, big fat Turkish fellow's offering Turkish delight in one hand and mopping his sweaty brow with his bare other also if you look under the mats in the bazaar you get to see the open sewer which goes to the harbour.Otherwise great.
