I have been plenty of times =)
Other than my native England, greece is the greatest place on earth.
I have been to Parga,Santorini,Skopelos,Skiathos,Lesvos and Kefalonia 4 times.
Kefalonia is by far the best. But everywhere I have been the Greek people I have met are really friendly. And I love the food a traditions that reside in Greece. |

June 25th I just returned from my 9th annual visit to Greece visiting relatives in the family and my own friends. I stay in Athens but also visit friends on Island of Poros.
How was it? There is the beat of my heart, the breath of fresh air, my sanity of year, I love being there enjoying the music, the laughter, the food, the friends, the scenes of the sea and mountains, the rides on the ferries, the walks...so far I have found nothing that I have not liked on all of my trips.
The Saga Hotel on Poros is owned by relatives/friends and make one feel like friends and not just a paying guest....you see ones that are returning guest every year.
Thank you for giving me another chance to brag on Greece! |

No, Ive never been there. But my mom has and she says everything is beautiful. The ocean, the buildings, the landscape, the culture, the cities! So, yes i would love to go to Greece! It would be the trip of a lifetime! But unfortunately, i have no money. so i guess that counts me out. |

well i'm surrounded by Greek Americans who have all been to Greece and they say its amazing( I'm getting hella Jealous ) But me never been there. Luckily i'm taking a 2 month backpacking trip through Greece and western turkey w/ my non greek dad (i'm half greek).. then ending it off by staying with some family in a town kinda close to Sparta called Monemvasia. |

I have. I looooooved Santorini, and while I'm glad I went to Athens, I don't know that I'd go back. Seeing all the ancient stuff was awesome, but the rest of the city is just one more big, dirty city like all the ones in every other country. Not really a city person here. ;) |

Greece is the most chauvinistic and nationalistic country in Europe. They deny existing of the Macedonian minority and oppress all the Macedonians there.
Today, on the Holly Saint Elia's day, Greek policy denied Macedonians from the village of Ovcharani to have their annual celebration just because of Macedonian songs and dances prepared to be performed. |
