Since I am Greek I'd be a little biased to answer you. I just want to respond to the answer above me that says Greeks are gay because their ethnic outfit is a "dress"!!!!
What an ignorant snoot! It's like saying Scotts are gay because they wear a skirt!
Did you even hear the phrase "the clothes won't make someone a priest"?
Geez, such ignorance!
Oh, and Lesbos was there before the Lesbians, do you have any idea how Lesbians got their name?

Same as ordinary people of this Planet. Any Country drives its people accor
ding to their history, habits and ethnics. Take into account Greeks were under Turkish occupation for over 400 years, at the time the rest of free Europe were achieving their Renaissance, and these were to some degree
responsible for it. I say to some degree, because Greeks held their share for it.
I grew up listening to french, italian and US music, watching US movies and being its effect. Now, greek music is a--nice--mimicry of the US music and TV series and films a copy--even a poor one-- of US films and reality shows. We dress jeans, we wear Camel shoes, we drink Coke and Pepsi,
we are submissed to the US will, we'd undergone a 7 years of US posted dictatorship (1967-1974), we have a lot--huge amount--of Oil under the Aegean Sea, but can't pull it up, due to the set up hostility with Turks and the
inhibition of Derrick it by the US.
We are not allowed to make a car industry--of our own--only to import cars.
2 attempts in the past (Nissan and Pony-Citroen) were gone over the edge.
We are obliged to buy plane spare parts only from US, this costing a huge amount of our Yearly Budget.
We helped Alliance during both W.W. and we never gotten the promised exchange in full. Of course we made 1000 of mistakes, we'd been proven not worthy of trust, but we made our future striving and struggling.
I don't blame US and its people; no. I just want to play fair and show that
greeks are ordinary people, with plus and minus points; but I know 1 thing:
My ex wife, french, had always said that if one was dying in Paris, everybody would step upon him, while walking, but in greece they'd give him a hand!
Gays are everywhere; TV series comprise at least a homo scenery, and the
Net is full of this topic. Yes, in Greece homos are being a flood and almost
all actors are chosen by this characteristic, but we copy...someone else!!!!!
So, don't associate greeks with the rubbish of this Planet; Earth is a dustbin
(Planet) anyway....
US were formed from European fugitives and Ausrtalia from...busted crimin
als....!
We are living on the SAME Planet!!!!

I lived in Greece (Glyfada) for 6 months and the Greeks were some of the nicest I have ever come across in Europe.
Cordial, kind, fun-loving people with passion. Always were there to offer an American a dinner or a shot of ouzo.
The only problem was I had some guy call me a malaka-ameriki, not knowing that I spoke enough Greek to know what he was saying, but go to New York and see if they don't do worse.

I do not know much about Greek People, as I live in the USA, but I do know they have many handsome, sexy men. Do not tell me anything about their being Gay-- they are All Men and Sexy as they come, and when they speak English with the hint of Greek, it is a major turn on.

I'll tell you exactly what Greek people are like: the good ones are very good, more than usually in other countries. The educated ones are very educated and cultured. Similarly, the irresponsible ones are more irresponsible than elsewhere, the corrupted ones are more corrupted, and so on. Because the system maakes you choose sides, you don't just follow an organised plan as in other countries, you either fight for progress and try to make a difference, or you just take advantage of the rest who try to make a difference.

I never met one I didn't like,
and this coming from a person who
grew up in Astoria NY, (little Greece)
who has met plenty of Greeks and has never
once evaluated them by race, religion,
or color. Another words,
there doing alright by me....
This opinion is based on the individual ones
I have met, (No people should be liked or disliked
according to race) you can only
make these determinations about people
by your personal relations with them.

Greek people? Ha, they are gay, all of them!!! Take a look a the link I put down, its Gay Greek Royal Guards in Pantyhose. Also they named one of their Island Lesbos.
