In FYROM right now the majority are the Bulgarians (1.300.000) that make up the 23% of the population. The Greeks are the biggest minority, which is composed of 900.000 people. The second biggest minority are the Albanians, who among with the Vlachs, the Turks, the Serbians, the Galatians and the Swazilanders make up the 54% of the population. The remaining population is constituted of Paeonians, Swedish speaking Finns, Xiongu Turks, Seljuk Turks, Syrian Beduins, Tuaregs, the 101 dogs of Dalmatia, 13 Roman travesties and the last of the Mohicans. Due to the high standards of living, the last 800 years of its existence, FYROM has accepted a large mass of immigrants. Due to the fact that immigrants and natives have been perplexed with each other, it is hard to estimate how many they are and even where they came from. According to Mr. Nicola Gruevski, prime minister of FYROM they are definitely Macedonians.. |

I know of one minority called "FYROMian Internet Trolls" and they live in the powerful servers of Yahoo.
About 10 of them but one cannot be certain about the exact number. |

It isnot Demek Macedonian, my Athenian friend. It is Sözde Macedonian.
You are trying to pose as Turkish, but you can't even manage that, let alone trolling disguised as a Turk. |

Comparing to Fyromians (and not only) we don't interfere into other countries internal issues.
If we know about something there is about Greeks living in Fyrom.
This is another story though,where if i ll tell my opinion I will be reported pretty soon.
ALso,better ask this question,in some other section.
@Plostad
I hope you have already realize how false is the source you rpovide,right?
ANd you didn't even try to check them your self.
As you say:
According to Jane’s Defense Magazine and the Human Rights Watch, G........... The ethnic Turks and Pomaks in Trace number 400,000, .........................
----->>>>>
Note something here: It says 400.000 Turks and Pomacs in Thrace.
I wonder how this is possible since the population of Thrace is 368.00!!!!!
I mean not only you "suppose" that the 100% of Thrace are Muslims but you found 30.000 more?
No need to comment any other number of those you mention about this "reliabe" source you use....
But if you want,yes,I can lighten you up!!!
You made my day,thank you!!! |

The real name is MACEDONIA. |

I know Turks and Albanians, as for the others, check plostad's answer. The treatment of Macedonians of their minorities cannot be compared to their E.U member neighbours, for the former's treatment is infinitely better.
Hahahahahahaha! "I'm Demek Macedonian". You think you can make people believe you can speak a language like Turkish by using a simple dictionary?

There are alot of Albanians in FYROM, and despite what FYROManians may tell you, they are treated poorley. They make up over 25% of the country and in 2001 there was even a military violence between Albanian militia in FYROM and the FYROM army, which left 64 Albanian militia dead, 63 FYROM soldiers dead, 70 civilians dead, 2 EU peace keepers dead and 1 US soldier dead. A peace deal was signed and as a result Albanian rights were improved and Albanian is now an official language in FYROM. |

By Fyrom I Guess you you mean Republic of Macedonia, so here is your answer, read it carefully:
Albanians, Turks, Vlachs, Serbs, Gypsies and maybe several smaller ethnic groups. All of them are mentioned in the preamble of the Macedonian Constitution (which fact is very rare in the world) and they enjoy every human, civil, ethnic and religious right that exist.
But, I wonder how it is possible in your county to exist only one minority - Muslims? Against whom were the latest harassments in the north part of your country? Why did UN send their expert Gay McDougall to her "Greece's Minorities" when you are a "pure nation"?
According to Jane’s Defense Magazine and the Human Rights Watch, Greece has 500,000 Macedonians in Aegean Macedonia, with further 250,000 to 400,000 Macedonians (economic migrants) to the south, mainly in Athens.
HRW also adds the presence of 500,000 Roma population, 1.7 million Albanians of which 1 million are not citizens. The ethnic Turks and Pomaks in Trace number 400,000, and the Vlachs add additional 300,000. Greece also has registered 1 million legal immigrants from the Middle East and Africa, with further 500,000 illegal immigrants, mainly from Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan.
Edit to vasiliki:
I very happy that I'm lighten you up and that I made your day, since something dark is happening in your country! |
