Yeah right, winter is nice??? Obviously, you never lived in Nunavut or the Northwest Territories! For us up here, global warming is a blessing.... ;) |

Well, we're having both nearly at once, right now in the northeast/nyc area...
But, I'd take summer 'any day'. The sun & warmth, and the activities by day. Not having to lug clothing/coats. We tend to forget, before winter arrives... No snow to shovel, and dig out cars from... and no bone-chilling air/wind, either. (I'll take 100+ degrees & no breeze, over 10-degrees with a wind, you know?). Then, there's the factor of what women wear... even of soft summer sun-dresses & heels, etc. over bulky wear & things to keep warm. Less people-watching, for sure. Less time to visit bars, outdoor fun places after work... I could go on, but since I mentioned "work" I might as well do some of that! |
