Has anyone ever flown to Zakynthos (Zante) airport in Greece? |
If so, when did you fly there,what airline did you fly with and what was the airport like, e.g. clean/dirty, large/small, etc.

Zante airport is disorganized and not much in it a duty free shop and cafe thats about all, not enough seating area and always full of people waiting on late flights home. You queue up outside to get in , a few shops at beginning of airport though. However dont be put off because Zante is a great holiday destination ,has glorious beachs, good nightlife , good resturants and the lovely Greek people warm and full of charm. I would put up with any kind of airport to land in a Greek island. The weather is hot , and the mood happy and carefree, you will love it. Have a good one. Been in Zante several times in different resorts there. |

Yes..its an airport...planes land and take off...you can buy things...its boring....you can buy coffee.....its like any regional airport on the planet..there are lots of Greek people...you can go to the toilet as well if you want...why not ask questions about the carparks and bus stations as well.. |
