That depends on what you mean by "English money."

24 euros = £16.2186

If you mean American Dollars, this is the conversion:

24 euros = $32.6907

I hope that helps. If you need other amounts converted, I have found this site extremely useful.

Whenever you want to convert Pound Sterling into Euros a pretty standard rate of exchange over the last few years has always been 1.40 euros= 1 pound.
So therefore 1 euro= 0.70 pounds (70 pence).
So you take your amount of euros you want to calculate, in your case 24 euros and you multiply it by 0.7.
24 x 0.7= 16.8.
So £16.80 is your answer.
Currencies fluctuate daily though but I have found that this is a pretty stable and accurate figure to work with.

A quick correction to that self righteous knob end Imdashti- It is actually called the English Pound. Scotland has the Scottish Pound, Southern Ireland uses the Euro, Northern Ireland and Wales use the English Pound. It is called Pound Sterling or the English Pound simply because it is made and printed in England. Are you by chance an ill informed American?

24.00 EUR = 16.2206 GBP (United Kingdom pounds) exchange rate on July 4, 2007
I hope by English money, you meant Great Britain.

It is about 16.22 pounds. The easiest way to convert from Euro to British Pound is to get two thirds of the amount in euro and then add one British pence for each euro.

For example: 24 euro = ??? British pound

24 x 2/3 = 16
16 + 0.24 = 16.24

16.24 pounds is pretty close to the actual 16.22.

Euro United Kingdom Pounds

this is taken from the website
www.xe.com
so 24 euro at todays rate is £16.22p
