lol yes, I've been to Amsterdam, but no I don't know the name of the bar you are talking about, but the people there are very friendly, and beautiful. It has been called the New City of Love for reasons. Good luck luck your search, but myself, I'd just go, you would be very suprised about how nice the place actually is. Have a good day :)

Anyway, just had to say that, and I don't know the bar, sorry, but Amsterdam is a great place - so chilled out.

I've been to Amsterdam several times but have never come across that bar. It's a fantastic place and the Amsterdammers are great people, tolerant. friendly and open-minded. About that bar - you can't always believe what you see on the telly.

I have lived in Amsterdam for 25 years and have never heard of such a bar. Just come and have fun here,the red light area is safe with some of the best looking girls you could wish for.

Why "for guys only"? Obviously there are women out there that go to these places looking to get some action or it would be a bunch of guys doing it to each other!
FYI - There are A LOT of places like this all over the world. I live in California and this isn't that unusual. You just have to know where to look...

I think this story is told about The Cooldown Cafe at the Rembrandtsplein. I have never been there. I have heard the story of several guys and one woman. But I think it is exaggerated.
Anyway the women that want to be picked can answer your question too, can't they?

I am a girl who has been to Amsterdam a few times (but not to the shows) and there are a few live sex shows and on average 20 % of the clientel are women. Centered on one street called Oudezijds Achterburgwal, it is full of sex shops, bars and live sex shows (one inventively known as The Banana Bar). Also, Casa Rosso, supposedly has the best live sex show in Amsterdam.

Amsterdam's no different from any other city for pulling except the women are more upfront about getting laid.

i went there, walked around the red light district, payed way too much for some pot, had some good beer, and there are always bars that some guys can pick up women at everywhere in the world. Im sure there are some bars that are lax on enforcing some rules, but i wouldnt want to bet on it in a foreign country.
