Turkey.. seriously keep that in mind! turkey is amazing, funny people, nice weather. it depends what sort of thing your looking for, i recommend gumbet if you're looking for somewhere to party at night basically. If you want a beachy holiday i recomend bitez beach its my faveroite place in turkey tbh, theres nice resturants my faves are lavas(it's more of a local/tourist resturant) and lemon tree(right on the beach, loverly during the day.) if your looking for an apartment sirca is really nice(bitez) well i hope this actually helped you! and let me know where you decide to go! but you realy should try out bitez and gumbet :) have fun! x |

Hey yeh i've been to Turkey, I went to Bodrum last year and it's good fun, Bodrum is quite a nice little place all the locals are usually Kurdish so it means theyre friendly towards Brits and they all speak the language. There was also bus rides out to see the ancient ruins, scuba diving and stuff like that. It's an ideal place really, if you're looking for a night out as well, lots of clubs, lots of turkish men bothering you to go into them aswell, but you'll get used to that, it's jus how they are. It's a lil bit touristy, but you get a good picture of turkish life aswell. If you wanted a more expensive yet more authentic view of turkey id say go to istanbul or somethin, and they've got a fantastic night life there. But if your looking for a cheap hot place to chill out Bodrum is quite good. |

I've been to Kusahadasi 3 times. It actually quite dear for food and drink. I'd say if you plan on doing a small amount of shopping, you'd need 1000 per couple. Its a great spot if you like shopping... but be warned that most of their stuff is fakes. |

I went to turkey with my family. I cant remember the place, but it was quite busy at night especially in the hotel. They had a disco and a nightclub... It was all inclusive so alchol was free along with all the food. So you dont need that much spending money.
And when we went out at night, nothing seemed to close, everything was open all night...
I cant remember the place though. The hotel was called Adakule or something like that.
Hope you have a good holiday. |

Go for a 4star at least all inclusive. Marmaris or Icmeler. Marmaris if you are in your 20's , Icmeler otherwise. Flights for there go to Dalaman.
Avoid Bodrum its a dump apparently.
Check on Teletextholidays, They have great deals with Turkish Specialist Tour Operators. Onur Air is the equivalent of EasyJet though so just beware.
I liked Turkey it was suprisingly nice. |

Yes I live in Istanbul Turkey, basically the heart of the country with incredible night life and during the day theres marvelous gasinos, cafes, etc. you can go to the bridge that intercepts European side and Asian side
I would suggest this resort for you to stay in, it sounds perfect and will suit you and your friend: Club Palm Garden is located on Kemal Seyfettin Elgin BulvarI | 210. Sokak No:10, Marmaris, Turkey.
According to the dollar it is $55.00 every 3 days |

Yes been there. Food was basic in hotel - 4 star was really a 2.
Unfortunately - the men tend to try anything to get you to part with money. The rule is generally: Love from them 1st, wanting money 2nd and the rest will be your little surprise!
Though I am still open to being proved wrong! There seems to be a bit of a culture difference - where women are seen as the breadwinners & nobody is embarressed to get women to pay for stuff unlike here where men would be ashamed to treat women that way.
The more remote regions seem most popular for this sort of thing. The restaurants, where they'll pretend they love you it seems.
Especially by Fethiye.
I could be wrong though- life changes people change- who knows they may love us all really ??? !!!!
But money - yes well we all want that don't we? |
