I went to Turkey about 4 years ago, and had an amazing time. The Turks are really friendly, helpfull, and welcomming.
About 2 days into our trip we'd made friends with the mannager and a some of the waiters at a local restaurent - they showed us around the city, told us where to buy things the cheapest, and helped heal my sunburn.
The Turks are a wonderfull people - go, open your heart and mind, enjoy yourself, and get and experince and memories that will last a lifetime. |

My husband was just in Istanbul, and spent time in Ankara growing up (military brat). There are good and bad things about every city, but overall Turkey has some interesting history, interesting Biblical sites, and they sell Cuban cigars! |
