Yes sir.. Crete is one of the most amazing places in the entire country. It's a beautiful island with incredible culture!

I lived there for 25 years. You don't mention your age but when you are young, knapsacking around the islands is great fun, especially in the summer. I can recommend Skiathos, Skopelos, Santorini, Naxos, Mykonos and Paros. Paros and Mykonos are wild party islands.Santorini ihas more of an eclectic crowd but it is so beautiful.

Yes, my first trip was in April 2000. This year will make my 9th yearly trip...9th because I could not wait a full year between some visits.
Only the first year did I do the touristy things, but even then it was with Greeks so enjoyed that they took the time for me. Now I just go to Athens, Halkidiki to the beach, or over to Poros to stay some.
Have never found anything yet that I don't enjoy about my time there...have been for as short as 10 days to as long as 2 months.

I went to Kavos on holiday once.........terrible resort but Greece itself is beautiful.

yes and love it i have been to almost all greek islands and im only 16 every year we go to different island and never any where else only Greece for me i would highly recommend it to you and everyone its sunny the hotels are excellent (5star hotels) and all of the islands are beautiful.

yes sevral times, my advice is avoid cyprus in the middle of August unless you enjoy sevear sunburn!

we have been to greece/greek islands a number of times and have always enjoyed it. the only down side is that you should not flush paper down the toilet but use the bin provided but do not let that put you off.

Yes - been on holiday in Athens (the Museum and the statue of Poseidon was a big draw), and had holidays on the islands of Santorini, Ios, Evia and Aegina.

i love greece. ive been to skyros and not many people have because its not on the tourist list but its a beautiful island. ive also been to athens, evia, rhodes and corfu. im going back to corfu soon and i hope to see halkadiki soon too. if i could i would move to greece. maybe i will one day.
