Have you ever been in a church ? Have you ever tried to read Holy Bible ?

I mean also : if you Turks are different from Arabs, if you are secularist and laic, if you are openminded, then you MUST study Christianism and Judaism...And then you can judge...
If you don't know, how can you judge ?...

I'm not Turkish, first off, but I have been in a church and I have read the Bible, the Koran and the Torah. My parents were both born Roman Catholics and that is what I am (as most Portuguese are).

However.. I have read the books and even though I was born a Roman Catholic I don't fully believe in the Bible. There are things in the Koran that I believe and things in the Bible I believe. I guess I have my own beliefs, people call me Catholic but I don't really know what I am... I just believe in a few different things. I have been to Church but honestly, I don't go very often.

Good point.
I have read the quran, the Bible, the hadiths, the book of Tao, and a bunch of other stuff.
How can you tell if your belief is the correct one if you haven't even learned anything about other beliefs????
The New Testament is the winner in my opinion.

I'm not sure if this is the answer you're looking for since I am a Christian, but yes, I have been to church and yes I have read the Bible.

p.s. It's "Christianity" not "Christianism"

yes ı have been to Church.

When I was 5 although My family is a Muslim I started to go to a church school in England. . I can say ıt was the most fantastic years of mylife because ı have learnt how to sing ın the choırs and nearly all the hyms.

If my family was soooo closedminded how could they send me there.

and when ı went to Malta ı have prayed at the famous Cathedral for god . And even now I work with Christians.

so tell me have you ever been to a mosque ?

Missy
you know what I'm both Turkish and Christian!!! because i took my father's religion but my mom is Muslim
and i have not read the whole bible nor the quaran.
i have been in both mosques and churches
i don't really care about learning other religions cause I'm not religious at all. but of course i know some basic ideas. when i need more information, then i ask or search.
after that, i judge!!!

I'm not Turkish........... Anyway, yes I've been to a church just yesterday and I've also read the Bible. I find the Old Testament to be something for old jews but I find the New Testament interesting. I also like Budhism and I've read things on other religions, namely islamism and hinduism.

Fenerli
I went to an all girl Catholic High School...went to church, mass, and read the bible. In college I also took a class of world religion.

Stranger in Sweden
Yeah I've been to church many times and read the Bible

Qu'est ce que tu pense?
I'm Muslim, and I study other religions too. I read parts of the Bible and I've studied Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism.

Irmak
No..I even haven't been in a mosque and read Quran..But I really want to learn about all religions, when I grow up..

dantistryfiliya

Yes, I have been to church, used to go all the time and I have infact read the bible (not just tried haha).. I am a Christian, though I haven't quite been like one in recent years (in terms of attending church and such that is). I am not religious, I like to consider myself more of a spiritual being :)

genç türk
I have been in many churches and ex-churches (like the grand Haghia Sophia) and I read the holy books until I was too bored to continue. Koran and old testament are somewhat similar in their brutal stance, I liked the new testament better but still not convincing. But I believe that Jesus is something more than just a prophet - he being born with no father and him being sent back as the messiah - not similar to other prophets. Also, he is more humane and loves everyone and also died for the sins of humanity. No other prophet did that.

I am 16 and not really searching for faith. Just because I don't go to church or read bible doesn't mean I am against it. I think it's great if people are into their faith, I just haven't found mine yet. I tried reading bible but I felt there was no purpose of it so I stopped. I don't think there's a right or wrong faith, I believe as long it fulfills you in any way it's ok.

zeynepp
We don't judge Christianism or Judaism. We respect and accept these two religions . But when you say we ''must'' study them then why don't you study Islam??I don't see a difference in your studying Islam and our studying Christianism.Noone has to do nothing Sir!Guess you're an internet missioner but this is not the right place for you so you better take your propaganda and do it elsewhere!

You know İ lived in Helsinki, and İ was in a French school.İ read it.

i ve been in a church i masked like a christian and i was the mouslem spy.but i was the only one who could not sing when they sang so my mask dropped.İ ran away.
Once in Antalya me and my brother got in the Church in Kale ici stoned. We pretended to be we wanna be christian. They welcomed us but actually İ met a ayoung guy that i ve known before he told me he became Christian.that s why we were there to investigate what s going on.
They simply give cakes and sing together this time in Turkish.
İ ve heard they give some cash too if you have some problems.
Report:They re trying to give the impression of being nice and that they care about you.But all they wanna do is to report their commanders that they ve turned more Turks in to Christian.so they ll get more cash for their coke.
No offence!
The Turkish church spy
