Yes!! I have been to England and I love it!! We even honeymooned there and had a wonderful time. Did a concert tour there a few years ago and met wonderful people and had great times. Sat where the Queen sits in the choir at Westminster Abby for Sunday morning services (sublime!! Huge honor!!)) I can't wait to go back. I'm from Texas.

I was born/raised in West London and visit there often to see friends etc, if you go to the right places, it's lovely, especially for high-end fashion boutiques/clubs etc, it's really one of those places that you either love or hate.

I'm from the USA, and have been to London a few times. It's like many other big, European cities. Good shopping, good ethnic foods, good museums, very easy to get around. Love the tube and the woman who tells you to "mind the gap". The downsides are the weather (often gloomy and cloudy), and driving on the "wrong" side of the road if you come from a non-island country.

I went to College in London. I love it, it`s so cosmopolitan, I was going to live there. Only think not in favour is the GB Pound, the money exchange...... The GB Pound is twice 1 dollar, but you can`t buy much with it. It is for tourists kind of expensive. That`s the only bad part. Otherwise London and England is too cool, I would suggest it!!

I went to London in 1985 with a high school group and several other groups from across the US.Our tour company was Cultural Heritage Alliance. At the time, I was living in California.(I now live in Minnesota.) Anyway, I liked London a lot.I thought the people were friendly, and there was a lot to see and do. I saw Buckingham Palace,The Changing of the Guard,Big Ben,the Parliament,Westminsters Abbey,St.James Cathedral,Piccadilly Circus.Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, and The Tower of London.I've also been to Gravesend,Canterbury, and Dover.I spent several days in England at the start and end of my month long tour of Europe. It was a lot of fun.

I am American and have been to London twice. I love the place. I can spend all day in a musty museum, church or castle and England has lots of all three.

Yes, been to London, Bath, Lacock, and Stonehenge. Then we took the Chunnel train to Paris just last July. Waterloo station to Paris in under 3 hours.
