Yeah - I went to Cordoba and stayed with a Spanish family.
It was fairly hard to understand, but I'm studying spanish so it helped.
But yeah, Spain is awesome - the people are really nice and open (and patient =D), and depending on where you go, it will either be really nice open landscapes, or built up places with beautiful architectural value.
The only fault I found was the weather... According to the family I was with, they said that it hadn't rained that hard for over 2 years!! Me and my British luck... =P
!Fue fantastico! |

Barcelona. It rocked, but you have to be very vigilant about your camera and wallet and stuff like that. |

I liked the Canaries better than the Costa's or the Belearics. Done Dorada, Dorada and Blanca. Liked all the Islands more than Solou etc. Also been to Ibiza, Majorca and Menorca. I think mainland Spain and the Med are far too pricey now. When Spain joined the € prices doubled virtually overnight. The same did not happen on the Canaries. |

Spain is very popular nowadays and the pools there are just great! I find there are very few water parks but a very good beach front and cuisine. |

I love Spain! People are friendly, and it is perfect if you are looking for an active trip. You will find everything in Madrid: the moat exclusive, luxurious brands on the “Golden Mile”; the most original, alternative fashions in the Chueca area; the enjoyable bustle of street markets such as El Rastro; and traditional, typical shops in the historic centre of the city. |
