Thessaloniki was the first city that we visited during our stay in Greece. We stayed for 11 days and travelled around 4.000 km from north to south, from village to city. Thessaloniki impressed us and we said "wow!" when we saw the buildings, the blocks, the restaurants, the monuments. We eaten close to White Tower... It's magnificient. In about one month we will go again to Greece. Maybe you will come to Romania instead. :)

Anyway, if we return... we are truly impressed with Greece.

I've only ever been to Corfu (I loved it) but my parents have been to Athens several times, visiting a cousin who lives there with her Greek Cypriot husband, along with Rhodes many years ago. My sister has been to Paros several times, while my brother has spent time in Santorini. I've never known anybody to say a bad word about the Greeks - any I met were extremely friendly, generous and warm-hearted.

Our family was in Greece last summer and we loved it!

We spent a week camping on the second penninsula in Halkadiki - loved it! The people were absolutely fabulous and the sea was gorgeous.

After that we traveled through much of Greece...Thessalonikia, Athens, Corinth, Dephi, Meteora - everything was terrific!

We hope to go back sometime. You have a fabulous country with wonderful people in it.

I loved Greece...it's beautiful and the people are friendly. The food is great, too!

I am from Greece and i must admit I am in love with Thessaloniki! I don't know why... maybe the great fulmoon i have seen over the White tower, maybe the endless nights i had there, really I don't know.

well i really like thessalonika. i would really like to go there.
anyways i used to live in another country and i remember that people from there had a nice thought about this country.
especially after that movie my big fat greek wedding everybody knew at least sth about this country.
especially in summer there is no other better place from this country.
