Turkey is one of the world's most ethnically diverse countries, it is home to more than 40 ethnic communities from Asia, Europe and Africa. Therefore you can see all kind of different looking people such as a person who has natural blond hair (like you) and/or brown/black hair, blue eyes to green-brown-black eyes, pale skin-fair or light skin-brown-darker skin-black skin.So the answer is yes I have seen plenty of people that looks Swedish here in Turkey.

What does "Swedish" look like?

You aren't very "suddenly" anymore are you? You've been around for a couple of days now. :)

If by "Swedish" you mean blonde, yes, I have. Hardly surprising given the history of the Turks, you can find all types - very fair, black, asian, mediterranean and everything in between. Some Turks look like native Americans, too.

yup

Why wouldn't I?

No, but I saw a guy at the airport in Newark, New Jersey who had extremely dark skin, (think of a dark brown leather wallet) but had Nordic features and blue eyes. He was very striking. The only thing I can think is that perhaps he was from India. So who knows, maybe some Turks look Swedish.

Selena
Yeah...in Bodrum...he was the captain of a ship...such a handsome man....why he wasn't an actor, remains a mystery to me....luckily enough for me, he invited me for a drink....too bad I was busy that day as I could have listened to his stories forever....he had the most beautiful blue eyes you can imagine!

Hey, what's to be reported about a black haired Balkanese? You are so against the freedom of speech, troll<3.

(You know the mathematical meaning of your nick, do you?)

Matt
Yeah, one applied for a job at my office. She said people always think she is from Russia, Sweden, etc... but, her whole family is blonde. There are many people groups in Turkey. I've also seen Turkish red-heads.
