ok seeing as all ur answers are stupid may i suggest; from england : southampton to le harve or wherever you want to land in france.

do you want a mediterreanean route or a colder northern route?

for med route drive south through france to toulose and maybe visit western french coast. from toulose go to andorra across the pyrenees mountains to barcelona from here go back north through perpignan across the french riveria across the alps into italy and visit milan and venice then cross into croatia then hungary etc and if your brave cross into the ukraine and have a chicken kiev in Kiev then fly home, easy.

First: Take a lot of money-Gas in UK 7.50 US Dollars a gallon, about 6.00- in Germany etc.
Second: Get the Universal drivers license in USA before leaving.
Third-Check on your medical insurance (medicare etc) is not good there-May have to take out a trip policy---
Fourth: If someone going with you, have them get a universal drivers license as well in case of tiredness or sickness.
Fifth. German police especially are very, very strict. You dont see them very often on the roads (usually never unless going to an accident) but they give no slack.
6th. Get good book on traffic signs for each country. They are in their language of course-so someone needs to know what {Exit Now{ means.---Just a few---suggestions: Best one would be to get good travel book from maor book store. Good luck..
(I would take the train in England-Scotland-they go the wrong way there, and that is too stressful.)

go to map search, you should be able to find a map with exact instructions and exactly how many miles you will travel. good luck see ya when you get here.

Carefully ! Europeans have a Priority to the Right which means, anyone on the Right of you ( at an intersection ) has the Right Of Way and You will be at Fault. Especially be careful with motorcyclist's, they drive inbetween cars to get to the front.
DO NOT USE A CELL PHONE WHILE DRIVING !!! You WILL be fined and it's Expensive !! !! !! !

Other than that, All Looks good.

one more thing, to get the best possible routes, you might want to check into getting a ' used ' gps system if you do not have one. Best thing that worked for us.

I think many missunderstood the question. go to www.map24.de, there you can put the location you are in and where you want to go, and it will show you the fastest route there. For scenic routes by a Map.

I think Europe has so much to offer, that it does not matter which route you take you will see something special. I would stay in continental Europe where people drive on the normal side of the road. My start would be in Barcelona, go through the south of France many little nice towns. Go north to Paris, keep going north to Brussels then east to Germany, south to Cologne then give gas and go to Berlin end in Prague through Dresden.
